My New Grey Long-Sleeved Pitt Shirt

This past Friday, I purchased a grey long-sleeved Pitt shirt at T.J. Maxx.  I probably won’t be wearing it too much right away because it is too warm outside, but I will be wearing it a lot this fall.

I am wearing my grey long-sleeved Pitt shirt and my light blue jeans in this picture.

In this picture, I’m wearing my grey long-sleeved Pitt shirt with my light blue jeans.  That’s an interesting combination, in my opinion.

The word "Panthers" appears on one of my shirt's sleeves.

On one of my shirt’s sleeves, you will find the word “Panthers” on it.

I took a cool selfie yesterday.

Finally, let me wrap up today’s blog post by showing you a picture of my new grey long-sleeved Pitt shirt.  I will be wearing it many times this fall.

Thank You For Reading My Very “Pleasing” Blog Post Today!

As you know, the month of August is almost finished … and today, I would like to talk about some very exciting things that have happened to me as I was standing in line at my store this past month.  On August 3rd, I was able to say, “Please enjoy the remainder of your afternoon,” to one of my store’s cashiers.  I felt good after saying that … and the cashier felt very good after I said those words to the cashier.  Whenever I’m cashing my paychecks or buying some items or doing both of those things, I try to say “please” and “thank you” to the cashier as much as I possibly can.  You might say that I ended my workday on a very “pleasing” note.

Over the past few weeks, I have had similar experiences while I was standing in line at my store.  Just yesterday afternoon, I finished up my workday my complimenting a customer on the pants that the person was wearing while I was standing in line at the store.  The person was wearing the exact same pants as me.  Moments later, I said to the cashier, “Please put the receipt in the bag” … and then I said, “Please enjoy the remainder of your afternoon” to the cashier.  That moment made me and the cashier smile.

Please let me finish up this blog post by saying, “Please have a ‘pleasing’ day!”  Thank you!

More logs, anyone?

Last fall, we had a lot of logs at our house.  Most of those logs are gone now, but recently, we found some more logs at our house.  I don’t know if these are the logs that we had at our house back in the fall, but who knows?  Maybe they’ve been hidden somewhere on our property for several months.

We have some logs on our trailer here.
We have some logs on our trailer here.

There are some logs on our trailer here.  Some of them were already chopped up whenever I found them on the trailer earlier this week.

We also have some logs behind our shed as well.

Back in October, we had a lot of logs at our house … and back then, I wrote a blog post entitled “Logs, anyone?”  Here is a link to the blog post now …

“A” Marks The Spot … In Our Backyard!

"A" marks the spot in our backyard. It's actually part of our swing set.

Yesterday, I ended my blog post by saying, “You never know what you’re gonna find inside of our house.”  Well, I’m gonna start this one by saying, “You never know what you’re gonna find outside of our house!”  As you can see here, “A” marks the spot … in our backyard.  It’s actually part of our swing set.  In this case, two “As” mark the spot in our backyard.

“X” Marks The Spot … Sort Of!

This is one of the "Xs" that we have in our basement's ceiling.
This is one of the “Xs” that we have in our basement’s ceiling.

I have taken some somewhat scary pictures over the years, but this picture may be the scariest one that I have ever taken.

As we begin the second year of my blog together, I’d like to talk about the “Xs” that we have in our basement’s ceiling.  They scare me a little bit, especially whenever I see them in the dark.  So, I guess you could say that “X” marks the spot in our basement’s ceiling … sort of.    Even though they are nicely made, in my opinion, they’re almost hard to look at.

My Blog Is One Year Old Today!

One year ago today, on August 24, 2014, I began my blog, which is called “Joseph Pratt’s Interests And Some Other Things” … and since then, it has grown considerably well.  I have written over 200 posts on this blog … and various parts of my blog have been seen by various people more than 700 times.  I would like to thank the people who follow me on my main social media sites for taking the time to check out my blog on certain occasions … and I would like to thank my fellow bloggers for checking out various parts of my blog … and I would also like to thank four people who are loyal subscribers to my blog.

First, I’d like to thank my fellow bloggers for being loyal subscribers to my blog and they are … Kendall F. Person, Stuart M. Perkins and a user named “jumpforjoyproject.”

Second, I’d like to thank four people who are loyal subscribers to my blog and they are … Timothy McGrogan, Chuck Lazzini, Jennifer Buzzatto and Nicholas Papakie, Jr.

My blog got off to a slow start.  That was because I was only blogging once or twice a week.  My blog would only get viewed by various people a few times a month.  Then, as 2014 was preparing to end, I would start writing blog posts a little bit more often.  Then, when 2015 started, I began to write blog posts almost every day.  My blog would then get viewed several times by various people.  November 2014 is my blog’s worst month ever.  My blog got viewed only four times by various people back then.  January 2015 was my blog’s best month ever.  It got viewed by various people 128 times in a single month back then.  March 11, 2015, was my blog’s best day ever … and it got viewed 26 times in a single day back then.

Again, I would like to thank you guys for checking out my blog this past year.  I hope that you guys will continue to support my blog for many more years to come … and I hope that you guys will continue to take the time to check out my blog whenever you guys have the time to do so.

Celebrating My Blog’s First Year: My Blog’s Best Month Ever

January 2015 was my blog’s best month ever.  Back then, my blog got viewed by various people 128 times in a single month … and as of today, that record still stands.  It was a great month in my blog’s one-year history.

I would like to say thank you for helping me celebrate my blog’s first anniversary this week.  I will celebrate my blog’s first anniversary on Monday … and I will do that by writing an exciting blog post.  Enjoy your weekend!

Celebrating My Blog’s First Year: My Blog’s Best Day Ever

March 11, 2015, was my blog’s best day ever.  On that day, my blog got viewed by several people 26 times.  Yes, I said that correctly … my blog got viewed 26 times in a single day back on March 11, 2015.  That record has not been broken since then, but maybe it will be broken sometime in the future.  I’m usually happy if my blog gets viewed by people at least once or twice in a typical day, but I was very happy when I found out that it got viewed 26 times back in March.  That was a great day in the history of my blog.

Tomorrow, I will talk about my blog’s best month ever.
