I’m watching the leaves fall and change colors (Part 2)

I'm holding a wet leaf in this picture!
I’m holding a wet leaf in this picture!

Today, I’m gonna continue this three-part blog post by showing you a picture of myself holding a wet leaf that I found in my backyard this morning.  It looks like the leaf is brown.  We only have a few leaves in our backyard right now, but in just a few weeks, the leaves may cover up our backyard completely.

Tomorrow, I’m gonna wrap up this three-part blog post by showing you the leaves that can be found on the trees, which are located near the railroad bridge.

I’m watching the leaves fall and change colors (Part 1)

This week, I’m going to write a three-part blog … and in it, I’m going to talk about the leaves that I like to see during the Fall season.

We have a lot of leaves on these trees here in our backyard. Some of them are changing colors already.

My funny Skechers socks

Whenever I was younger, I would sometimes wear socks that went up to my knees, but now that I’m older, I don’t do that anymore.  I wear socks that just go up to my ankles these days.  I have a lot of short shoes from Hanes … and I also have short socks from Joe Boxer and Skechers.  I like the Skechers shoes a lot.  I sometimes wear them around the house whenever I can.  To me, these are my “funny socks.”  I wanna be able to wear them many times for many years to come.

Here are my Skechers socks. These are great socks ... and I wear them regularly.

This week, I’m going to write a three-part blog post, but I’m not gonna tell you what it will be about.  It’s actually going to be a surprise.

On Friday, I’m going to write my 250th blog post … and it will be about my bedroom.

It’s time for me to move forward!

In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “When Childhood Ends.”

Even though my childhood ended a few years ago, I sometimes still act like a child in some ways.  Back then, I started to gradually give up certain things that I did whenever I was a child … and now, at the age of 29, I’m giving up something else that I’ve been doing since I was a child … and that was visiting my aunt’s house for several days at a time.  Whenever I was younger, I would visit her on weekends … and then as I got a little bit older, I would sometimes visit her for several days at a time.  Sadly, I won’t be visiting my aunt for several days anymore, but I will try to visit her for a few hours on Christmas Eve.

So, as I get closer to my 30th birthday, I’m beginning to “move forward” in several ways … and my childhood is almost completely finished.

My new Michael Kors jacket

Yesterday afternoon, I purchased a new Michael Kors jacket at T.J. Maxx.  I really like this jacket a lot … and I plan on wearing it many times this fall.  Earlier this year, I saw two of my former co-workers wearing similar jackets to T.J. Maxx … and I really liked those jackets a lot.  Now I have a jacket like it myself.

On September 25, 2015, I purchased a new Michael Kors jacket at T.J. Maxx.

I’m trying something different … and I’m drinking Ginger Ale with lime!

This past Tuesday, I went to the Iron Creek Bar and Grille in Cuddy … and I promised myself that if I ever went to that restaurant again, I would get myself Ginger Ale with a lime in it … and guess what?  I did just that!  I liked the drink a lot … and I decided to take a selfie with my drink, even though I don’t usually take these kinds of selfies myself.

I drank Ginger Ale with a lime in it on September 22, 2015.

I will probably go to this restaurant again on Tuesday … and if I do go there again, I will get Ginger Ale with a lime in it again.

I’m trying something different … and I’m wearing my Team Crosby sweatpants with my hockey jersey!

For the next two days, I’m going to talk about doing things differently … and today I’m gonna talk about an unusual wardrobe combination that I was able to “sport” earlier this week.  On Monday, I was wearing my black Crosby jersey with my grey Team Crosby sweatpants.  Now, I usually wear my jerseys with either cargo shorts or my blue jeans, but I almost never wear them with my sweatpants.  Would you call it an unusual wardrobe combination?  You be the judge!

Joseph Has A Question For You: What should my 250th blog post be about?

In just a few shorts day, I will be writing my 250th blog post … and I was thinking about writing something that’s big and exciting.  That’s where you guys come in.  Here’s my question … what should my 250th blog post be about?  Should it be about my computer room, my bedroom or our china closet?

Should my 250th blog post be about my computer room?
Should my 250th blog post be about my computer room?
Should my 250th blog post be about my bedroom?
Should my 250th blog post be about my bedroom?
Should my 250th blog post be about our china closet?
Should my 250th blog post be about our china closet?

My 250th blog post will only be about one of these three things … and I will save the other two things for future blog posts.

Joseph’s Flashback: Our blue Puma jackets

Back in the Spring of 2012, I purchased a blue Puma jacket for me … and I also purchased one for one of my cousins.  This person liked it as much as I did.  Also back then, we both our our blue Puma jackets in front of some of our relatives.  That moment really made me smile.

(I still have that jacket and I wear it occasionally … and I think my cousin still has the jacket also.)
