This week, I lost one of my relatives. My aunt, Pauline Danesky, who was my neighbor for several years, passed away on Tuesday at the age of 88. I will miss her a lot … and I will remember her for a very long time.
As you know, February is a short month … and, in February, I will be giving my features another break … and I will bring them back in March.
I have now owned my grey Bauer sweatpants for one year now … and I will talk about the event in a blog post. It will be called “Spreading the ‘Bauer Power’ one year later.” I purchased those pants at a local Pure Hockey store on February 1, 2016. I really like them … and I wear them whenever I can. They’re very comfortable.
Also, it has been two years since my bulldog, Piglet, passed away. She was 12 years old whenever she passed away on February 12, 2015. I will talk about the event in a blog post, which will be called “Remembering Piglet Two Years Later.”
Also, “Mr. Classy” might be going on the road in February. I will mention it in a blog post, which will be called “‘Mr. Classy’ is on the road!” I can’t tell you where “Mr. Classy” will be going to here, but I can assure you that he’ll be at a great place here.
Of course, I will also write down some interesting blog posts in February … and, in March, I will write my 600th blog post on my blog.
Enjoy your day!
I received a new hourglass for Christmas this year.
This is a special hourglass. When the sand moves through it, it creates a cool design on the bottom half of the hourglass. It last for about a minute or so. I’m gonna try not to use it too much because I don’t want to break it. I like to look at it … and it relaxes me quite a bit. I like the hourglass, though.
I’d like to show you a picture of my hourglass.
Ten years ago today, I became friends with one of the coolest and classiest people that I have ever known … and his name is Justin McKean. On that day, he was one of the three substitute teachers that I had while I went to South Fayette High School on that day.
Since January 23, 2007, Justin has been my teacher, my friend and also my fellow blogger … and we still keep in touch with each other regularly. We also bump into each other once or twice a year at local festivals.
Back in July of 2016, I bumped into Justin at McSummerfest … and we took a selfie while we were there one evening.
Later today, the Penguins and the Steelers will both be playing their games … and, as you might have guessed, I will be rooting for both of those teams later today.
Today, I’m wearing my Penguins jersey over my yellow Steelers T-shirt.
Today, I’m writing my 575th blog post. You guys are some of the best people that I have ever known. Thank you for taking the time to check out my blog posts on a regular basis!
Yesterday, the temperatures were in the 60s … and, since it was warm outside, I was able to take my first evening walk of 2017 late yesterday afternoon. Before I took my walk, I took some pictures of the clouds that were in the skies above Cuddy. I saw a little bit of everything in the sky yesterday.
Back in March of 2016, I wrote a blog post entitled “I now have a year’s worth of blog posts!”
Back then, I had written 366 blog posts on my blog … and, on that day, I wrote my 367th blog post … and I named the blog post “I now have a year’s worth of blog posts!”
Here’s a link to the blog post …
I now have a year’s worth of blog posts!
Is Joseph Pratt one of the classiest people in the world? The answer is yes. Over the past 2 1/2 years or so, I’ve written some very “classy” blog posts about being a classy person. I’d like to show you some of those blog posts in this blog post today.
Since August of 2014, I have written 37 “classy” blog posts … and, in some of them, I also talk about “Mr. Classy.” So, yes, Joseph Pratt is one of the world’s classiest people ever. I’m sure a lot of you guys would agree with me on that!
Over the past few weeks, I’ve been saving up my money in a rather interesting way. I’m gonna buy myself a new mattress in a few short weeks. I remember buying my current mattress at Boscov’s a few years ago, so I think I’ve owned my current mattress for over eight years now.
Let me ask you guys a poll question today. What kind of mattress should I buy for myself in 2017?
