This past Friday afternoon, the temperatures were in the 70s … and it was a typical day in late February. On that day, I was able to leave my workplace early … legally. Let me explain why I did that.
According to my schedule, I was only supposed to work from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. on February 24th, which was last Friday. I usually work from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on either a Monday or a Friday, but this past Friday, I was only scheduled to work until 1 p.m. The timing could not have been more perfect, in this case. I was able to use the extra hour in a pretty interesting way that afternoon.
That was the reason why I was able to leave my workplace early legally.
Will I be able to do that again in the future? Maybe.
