Joseph’s Top Blog Posts For May 2017

May is going to be an exciting month for my blog.  I will be talking about some exciting things in my blog posts in May.

One blog post will be entitled “Joseph’s Top Blog Posts For May 2017” … and I’m writing that blog post for you guys today.  In the blog post, I’m gonna tell you about some of the big blog posts that I’ll be writing down during the month of May.

Also, I will be turning 31 in May … and, on May 1st, I will write a blog post entitled “Guess who’s turning 31 today?”  So far, I’m enjoying the fact that I’m now in my 30s.

Another blog post will be entitled “I have owned my grey Penguins T-shirt for one year!”  I first purchased the shirt at T.J. Maxx back on May 9, 2016.  I also talked my friend, Chuck Lazzini, into buying one as well.  We both like the shirt a lot!  In fact, I’ll be talking about it in at least three of my blog posts in May.

At some point in May, I will write my 650th blog post down.  It will be about something exciting.

Another blog post will be entitled “I went to an ‘undisclosed location’ recently!”  I can’t tell you exactly where I’m gonna go here, but I can tell you that it will actually be located somewhere in Allegheny County.  I will go there at some point in early May.

Even though May will be a busy month for me, I will still use my blog’s features during the month of May.

Let me tell you how I’m gonna use them this time …

I will also write about some more nice things in May.  Enjoy your day!

I’m getting used to the changes that are being made at my workplace!

Last Friday, I had a semi-chaotic workday at my workplace.  That was because they were making a lot of changes to my workplace.  Earlier this week, I told you that they were putting a HomeGoods store inside of my T.J. Maxx store.  It had actually been a T.J. Maxx store for almost 36 years.  Beginning in just a few days or so, I will be working in what is called a “combo store.”

Now, today, I went to work … and my workday wasn’t as chaotic as it was last Friday.  They are now putting the finishing touches on our new HomeGoods store.  Some of the people who used to work with me at T.J. Maxx will now be working at HomeGoods.  Yes, we’ll all be in the same building, of course.  We’ll just be doing different things, that’s all.

Again, it’s gonna take a while to get used to the changes that they’re making at my workplace, but over time, I’ll be able to get used to them.  After all, I’ve been working at my store for almost 10 years now.  We’ll see what happens, of course.

I now have a new baby cousin!

Nearly two weeks ago, my newest baby cousin was born … and his name is Ezra.  Since I don’t have any siblings, I will not be “Uncle Joseph” to Ezra.  My cousin, Sarah Smith, and her husband, Tim Smith, became parents on April 15th whenever Ezra was born.  I believe Ezra is now my cousin.  I haven’t met my newest cousin yet, but hopefully, I’ll be able to do that soon.

Joseph’s Flashback: I watched The Weather Channel whenever I was a kid!

Back in the ’90s, I would watch a lot of cable TV channels at my aunt’s house … and one of those channels was The Weather Channel.  I would watch the channel a lot whenever I would go to my aunt’s house.  I actually remember a lot of things that were on the channel back then.  It was one of my favorite cable channels back then … and it’s still one of my favorite cable channels today.

My semi-chaotic day at work

Over the past several weeks, people have been remodeling my T.J. Maxx store, which is located in Bridgeville.  It has been a T.J. Maxx store for almost 36 years now … and, now, they’re putting a HomeGoods store inside of the T.J. Maxx store.  I’m excited about it … and I’m also nervous about it.  They’re changing almost everything around in the store.  Today, I’d like to tell you about a semi-chaotic day that I recently had at my workplace.

This past Friday, I went to work like I always did … and me and several of the people who work with me in the back room had to work upstairs because some people were fixing things up downstairs.  There were also several new workers there as well.  It was a fairly chaotic morning for me.  I almost didn’t have anything to do upstairs at that time, but luckily, I was able to find something to do just minutes after I went into the back room.  Things did get better as the day went by, though.

I was able to clean some things out on the sales floor on Friday afternoon.  The afternoon was a relaxing one for me, in a way.

So, as you might have guessed here, I had a semi-chaotic day at work this past Friday.  I’m starting to accept the changes that they’re making to the store that I have been working at for nearly 10 years now.  I like it there a lot.

Joseph’s Moment Of Peace: Our ceiling fan

For as long as I can remember, we have always had a ceiling fan of some kind in our dining room … and, today, I’d like to talk about our newest ceiling fan.  It’s from a company called Hunter … and it’s in our dining room.

I spend a lot of time in our dining room … and I end up sitting underneath of it whenever I can.  It relaxes me in a nice way because it allows me to see a familiar item whenever I sit in the dining room.

This ceiling fan, which is from a company called Hunter, is in our dining room. It works very well.

Blog Post Number 625

Today, I am writing my 625th blog post on this blog … and, today, I would like to talk about my “emoji pillow.”  I really like it a lot … and I’m actually putting it to good use.  It’s on one of the chairs, which is located in my dining room.  I either sit on it … or I just put it against my back.  Either way, I like my “emoji pillow” a lot.

If you guys have any suggestions as to how I should use my emoji pillow regularly, let me know.

Back in February, I got this emoji pillow at the Mardi Gras dance, which took place at the high school one evening. Over the weekend, I finally gave it a proper place for it to be shown properly. I placed it on one of my dining room’s chairs this past Saturday.

I saw these clouds on Easter Sunday!

On April 16, 2017, I saw some rather nice clouds in the skies above my home. Some clouds are white, some clouds are grey and some clouds are dark.

I hope your Easter was as nice as mine was.  I got some rather interesting things in my Easter basket this year.  I didn’t really have an Easter basket, per se; however, I was able to put my treats into a big dish for a few hours yesterday.

I also saw something interesting in the skies above my home yesterday morning.  I was able to stand outside for a few hours yesterday … and, while I was doing that, I was able to see some nice-looking clouds in the skies above my home.  Some clouds were white, some clouds were grey and some clouds were dark.

I just like to look at the clouds that are in the skies above my home.  If I see any clouds that look interesting to me, I may snap a photo of them … and who knows?  I may use the photos in my blog posts in the future.
