Blog Post Number 1,050 Is About My “Super” Uncle

I will not be using my computer until Saturday, February 2nd.  I will try to give you guys some terrific blog posts while I give my computer a break this week.

Today, I’m writing my 1,050th blog post on my blog … and it will be about my “super” uncle, whose name is Thomas Papakie.  I’m calling him a “super” uncle because he has a grey Superman shirt , just like I do.  We were able to wear them with class right before Christmas in 2018.

On December 22, 2018, me and Thomas Papakie wore the grey Superman shirts with class. In this case, he’s a “super” uncle.

In honor of my blog’s fifth year, I’d like to show you five blog posts that I wrote down on or around January 28th in previous years …

Joseph’s Flashback: Joseph remembers Callahan’s

For many years, there was a part of Great Southern Shopping Center that was home to many different places, including a disco-style nightclub called V.I.P., a terrific restaurant called Face’s and a terrific sports pub called Callahan’s, which is the restaurant that I’ll be talking about in today’s blog post.

I went to this place with my relatives many times whenever I was younger.  They had games there, they had little TV sets at every booth and, of course, they had great food there.  The service there was fantastic, as well.  I liked this place a lot … and I will remember this place for a long time.

After Callahan’s left the shopping center, it was called one or two other things … and, when it burned to the ground in 2006, it was called Crazy Horse Saloon.  Bentley’s Banquet Hall was also in the same part of the shopping center as Callahan’s.  At times, I were able to see parts of the banquet hall while I walked through Callahan’s itself.

In honor of my blog’s fifth year, I’d like to show you five blog posts that I wrote down on or around January 27th in previous years …

The Origins Of “Mr. Classy”

For the past three years now, I have been able to call myself “Mr. Classy” whenever I would wear the grey Michael Kors jacket or the black leather jacket, which is from Vintage Leather.  Like yours truly, “Mr. Classy” is an introvert also.  He likes to be alone after being out and about for hours at a time.

Well, anyway, let me tell you how I cam up with “Mr. Classy” as my current nickname.  In 2015, one of my friends, whose name is Jeff Mooney, worked with me at Bridgeville T.J. Maxx … and he would sometimes call himself “Mr. Grey.”  It was sort of named after a character in the movie “Fifty Shades Of Grey.”  That’s sort of the reason why I chose “Mr. Classy” as my current nickname.  It happened just days after I bought my grey Michael Kors jacket at T.J. Maxx.  I like the jacket so much, I wanted to create an alter ego based around the jacket.  I didn’t call myself “Mr. Classy” right away.  As we were about to start the year 2016 together, I put on the jacket, I said I was “Mr. Classy” and “Mr. Classy” was born.

These pictures of “Mr. Classy” appeared in my blog posts throughout 2018.

These pictures of “Mr. Classy” appeared on my blog throughout 2017.

These pictures of “Mr. Classy” appeared on my blog throughout 2016.

In December of 2015, I snapped these photos right after I purchased the grey Michael Kors jacket.  I wouldn’t start calling myself “Mr. Classy” until the beginning of 2016.

“Mr. Classy” has had a lot of fun over the past three years … and he has had two “stand-ins” in those three years.  The “stand-ins” have also worn the grey MK jackets.  Jonathan Reed was Mr. Classy’s original “stand-in” … and Tim Smith is his current “stand-in.”

“‘Mr. Classy’ and his ‘stand-ins” all say, ‘see you all later!'”

Thank you for allowing me to become “Mr. Classy” for the past three years.

I will be giving my computer a break from 7:00 this evening until 5:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 2nd.  I will try to give you some terrific blog posts while I give my computer a break over the next week.  Enjoy your day!

Remembering Pauline Two Years Later

Two years ago today, Pauline Danesky, who was both my aunt and my neighbor for years, passed away at the age of 88.  She was a very classy person.  I will miss her a lot … and I think about her every chance I get.

Joseph Has A Question For You: Should Joseph go to TopGolf for his 33rd birthday this Spring?

If you ride along Interstate 79 near the Bridgeville interchange, you might be able to see a terrific place called TopGolf.  It’s located on Presto-Sygan Road near Presto.  I have not been to this place yet, but I have heard of it many times.  I would like to go there at some point in 2019.

I have a question for you … should Joseph go to TopGolf for his 33rd birthday this Spring?  I think I should do that.  I will probably go there on the weekend before my birthday.

I have owned my green lacrosse pullover top for one year!

I have now owned my green South Fayette Lions Lacrosse pullover top, which is from Holloway, for almost one year.  It’s one of the classiest tops that I have ever owned … and I’ve worn it several times over the past year.  I’ve worn it with jeans, dress pants and even shorts.  It’s one of my favorite tops ever.  My mother ordered it for me online in the Fall of 2017 … and I got it in January of 2018.  It seems like I just got it yesterday.  My friend, Chuck Lazzini, also has this top … and we always wear our tops with class.  I will wear my top many times in 2019.

I would also like to thank Chuck for allowing me to own a classy top for almost one year.

In honor of my blog’s fifth year, I’d like to show you five blog posts that I wrote down on or around this date in previous years …

Joseph’s New American Rag Hoodie

I have several items from a company called American Rag … and you can only find those items at Macy’s.  I have a red V-neck T-shirt from them, I have a blue long-sleeved button-down shirt from them and I have two zip-up hoodies from them.  Well, now, I have three zip-up hoodies from American Rag … and the hoodie that I got for Christmas a few weeks ago has grey sleeves on it.  There’s also some camouflage on both the front and the back of the hoodie.  I like this hoodie a lot and I will try to wear it as often as possible this Winter.

I’m not gonna show you both sides of the hoodie.  You pretty much know what I’m talking about here.  Again, the sleeves are grey … and there are some camo prints on both the front and the back parts of the hoodie.  Nonetheless, I like this hoodie a lot … and I hope you guys like at as well.

Joseph’s Moment Of Peace: Joseph’s Money Jars

I really like to save up my money for some neat things.  I almost always have coins in my wallet … and I sometimes, split up the coins in a rather unique way.  I keep half of my coins in a wallet … and I put the other half of my coins in my money jars.  I can’t tell you exactly how much money I have in the jars, but I can tell you that I have at least 41 cents in my jars.  I have three actual money jars and they can be found on one of my dressers in my bedroom … and I also have a money jar that’s shaped like a bottle.  It can be found near my bedroom door.  The money jars relax me … and they allow me to use them whenever I need to take some of the coins out of my wallet.  This way, I can put them to use.

The Two “Macho Dudes” Were Back At Bee’z Recently!

Back in May of 2018, me and DJ Joe were able to wear our purple Macho Man shirts to Bee’z Bistro and Pub, which is located in South Fayette … and, this past Wednesday, we were able to wear those shirts to the restaurant again.  Yes, we wore them with class once again.

Here’s a picture of me wearing my shirt with class …
