Joseph Has A Classy Mount Union T-Shirt!

I really like the lacrosse team at the University of Mount Union, which is located in Alliance, Ohio.  My friend Chuck Lazzini’s son, Dom, plays on that team … and, in a way, he is giving that team some class.  The team is the Mount Union Purple Raiders.  Now, I already have a purple Mount Union Raiders shirt from Russell Athletic … and, on August 27, 2019, I got a white Mount Union T-shirt in the mail.  The T-shirt is from Champion.  It is a rather classy shirt … and I would like to thank Chuck for allowing me to have this shirt.

Now, as I said before, I got this shirt in the mail on August 27th, but I didn’t actually put it to use until the next morning.  I was able to try it on shortly after I got it … and I really like it a lot.  Now, you can wear this shirt with gym shorts or regular shorts, but, in my opinion, it looks classier with jeans.  The T-shirt is a pretty simple one, to say the least.  Underneath of Champion’s logo, you can see the words “Mount Union” on there … and you can see the letter C, which is from Champion’s logo, on the shirt’s left sleeve.  I apologize for not showing it to you clearly in the photos.

Now, again, I would like to thank Chuck Lazzini for allowing me to have this shirt … and me and him will be able to wear it with class many times in the future.  He is a terrific friend.

Joseph’s 1,200th Blog Post Is Full Of Swag!

Today, as I begin to use my computer again for the first time in several days, I have reached another milestone on this blog.  I am writing my 1,200th blog post on this blog … and it will be about a classy person.  His name is Jook Greer, who is one of my neighbors on National Hill.

Jook is one of the classiest people that I have ever known … and, back in April, we were able to wear both the white 2017 Stanley Cup Champions T-shirts and the grey and black Puma jackets with class … and swag.  Well, actually, we just wore our shirts with class, but we did wear the jackets with both class and swag.

On April 8, 2019, Jook Greer and I posted for this selfie outdoors on National Hill. On that day, we wore our white 2017 Stanley Cup Champions shirts with class … and we wore our grey and black Puma jackets with both class and swag.

As you can see, Jook is both a classy neighbor and a swaggy friend.  He is also the subject of my 1,200th blog post.

“Mr. Classy” has some fashion rules for Fall!

As you probably know by now, “Mr. Classy” now has more than one jacket.  It all started with the grey Michael Kors jacket … and, for more than 3 1/2 years, he has been able to own more jackets and even a pullover.  “Mr. Classy” also has the black leather jacket from Vintage Leather, the grey Nike half-zip pullover and the denim jacket from Brooklyn Cloth Company.  Today, I want to focus on the grey MK jacket and the denim jacket.

Now, this Fall, “Mr. Classy” will have some fashion rules.  Let’s start with the grey MK jacket.  “Mr. Classy” will wear this jacket mainly with blue jeans and shorts.  The jacket can remain unzipped … or it can be zipped up about halfway up.

Now, let’s talk about the denim jacket, which is from Brooklyn Cloth Company.  The jacket will be worn with either black jeans, white jeans or dress pants.  The jacket can remain unbuttoned … or it can be buttoned up about halfway up.  In other words, only three of the six buttons can be buttoned up.

I hope you like Mr. Classy’s fashion rules for the 2019 Fall season.  It will allow “Mr. Classy” to have some class or extra class, depending on his mood.

Now, I will give my computer a break from 7:00 tomorrow evening until 5:00 a.m. on Sunday, September 15th.  I will give you two amazing blog posts next week … and I’ll be thanking some of my blog’s followers in the posts.  I will be writing my 1,200th blog post on September 15th … and it will be about a person.

Enjoy your day, my friends!

Joseph’s New Henley Shirt Is From Dollar General!

I have at least two Henley shirts in my house.  One is a black long-sleeved one, which is from Croft and Barrow, and one is a grey and black Raglan one, which is from Railyard Grill and Tap Room in Bridgeville.  Now, on August 21, 2019, I went to Cecil Dollar General … and, that morning, I purchased my third Henley shirt.  It’s a grey long-sleeved Henley shirt, which is from a company called OT Revolution.

The Henley shirt is very classy … and it can be worn with either blue jeans, shorts or dress pants.  You should never wear it with either sweat pants, lounge pants or gym shorts.

If you like this Henley shirt as much as I do, please consider buying one for yourselves at a Dollar General store near your home.  As I said at the beginning of this blog post, I purchased mine at Dollar General in Cecil … and the shirt is only 10 dollars.  It may give you some class also.

Seeing clouds in my neighborhood

As you probably know, I like seeing some nice-looking clouds in the skies about both Cuddy and National Hill.  If the clouds look really neat, I will snap a photo or two, if I’m able to do so.

Now, from July 17th until August 28th, I was able to snap some photos of the clouds that were in the skies above the two tiny towns … and the clouds were white, grey and dark … and they sometimes had either “blue holes” or “grey holes” in the clouds.

I snapped a picture of the clouds that were in the skies on July 17th.  The clouds were white, dark and grey … and the clouds had “grey holes” and “blue holes” in them.

I snapped five photos of the clouds that were in the skies on July 24th.  The clouds here were white, grey and dark grey … and I saw some “blue holes” in some of the clouds that day.

I snapped two photos of the clouds that were in the skies on July 30th.  The clouds here were white and grey … and I saw some “blue holes” in some of the clouds.  I also saw little grey clouds inside of the white clouds that day.

I snapped two photos of the clouds that were in the skies on July 31st.  The clouds were white and grey … and I saw some “grey holes” in the clouds that day.

I snapped two photos of the clouds that were in the skies on August 2nd.  The clouds were white, grey, dark grey and just dark.  I saw “grey holes” and “blue holes” in the clouds … and I saw a little dark cloud inside of a white cloud on that day.

I snapped three photos of the clouds that were in the skies on August 7th.  The clouds were white, grey, dark grey and dark.  I saw mainly “grey holes” in some of these clouds that day.

I snapped three photos of the clouds that were in the skies on August 8th.  The clouds were white, grey, dark grey and dark … and I saw some “blue holes” in some of the clouds on that day.

I snapped four photos of the clouds that were in the skies on August 28th.  The clouds were white, grey and dark grey.  I saw a lot of “blue holes” in the clouds on that day.

I hope you guys liked seeing the clouds that were in the skies above National Hill and Cuddy as much as I did.  I apologize if this post is somewhat long, but I wanted to show you the clouds that I saw over the Summer.  I was busy celebrating my blog’s fifth anniversary from late July until late August.  That’s why I wasn’t able to show you these clouds until today.  Thank you for your understanding.

Joseph Celebrates His Blog’s Fifth Anniversary At Fairview Park!

On August 24, 2019, this blog, which is called “Joseph Pratt’s Interests And Some Other Things,” turned five years old … and, as you might have guessed, I celebrated the milestone at home that morning … and, that afternoon, I celebrated the milestone at Fairview Park.  It was one of the most exciting days of my life.  Whenever I went to Fairview Park for three hours on that day, I was able to go to South Fayette’s Community Day … and I bumped into some of my friends while I was there.  I also bumped into a local congressman while I was at Fairview Park.  I also bumped into a meteorologist from an out-of-town TV station, which is actually quite viewable here in southwestern Allegheny County.

On August 24, 2019, I went to South Fayette’s Community Day, which was in Fairview Park. I also celebrated my blog’s fifth anniversary while I was there.

I also saw some fantastic-looking clouds in the skies above Fairview Park while I was at Community Day.

Now, while I was at this event, I bumped into some of my friends … and I was also able to snap a selfie with a few of my friends while I was there.  Some of those friends are Dustin Lunn, Michael Meehan and Katie Meehan.

I also bumped into Congressman Conor Lamb, who is from the South Hills.

IMG_20190824_115304989
On August 24, 2019, I introduced myself to Congressman Conor Lamb, who is actually from the South Hills.

While I was at this event, I happened to bump into a TV meteorologist.  Now, this weatherman is not on one of our TV stations here in Pittsburgh, but this station is actually quite viewable in southwestern Allegheny County.  The weatherman’s name is Jeff Oechslein, who is the morning meteorologist at WTOV, which is the NBC affiliate in Steubenville, Ohio.  Let me explain this situation to you.  More than 15 years ago, I was able to watch WTOV on our TVs at my house before we started to get cable TV on just about every TV set in our house.  I would sometimes watch Jeff on the station’s morning newscast … and, in a way, that’s how I recognized this weatherman.

All in all, I had a fantastic day at Fairview Park on August 24, 2019.  I would like to say thank you to the people who were able to bump into me at this event back then … and I would like to say all of you for allowing me to have a blog for five years.  It has grown gracefully since August of 2014.

Joseph’s Top Blog Posts For September 2019

Can you believe it?  My blog’s sixth year is now underway … and I’ll be giving you some fantastic blog posts in the month of September.  I will give my features a break in September, but they will return in October.  So, let me tell you which blog posts I’ll be writing down in September.

I will write my 1,200th blog post in September.  It will be about one of my friends … and it will be entitled “Joseph’s 1,200th Blog Post Is Full Of Swag!”

Another one of my blog posts will be entitled “Joseph Has Had A Denim Jacket From Guess For One Year!”  I will talk about my denim jacket, which is from Guess.  I have owned it for almost one year.

Another one of my blog posts will be entitled “Seeing clouds in my neighborhood.”  For several weeks, I snapped some photos of the clouds that were in the skies above National Hill.  You’ll see them in a blog in September.  The clouds may surprise you.

Another one of my blog posts will be entitled “Say hello to the barbers of Fella’s Barbershop!”  I will tlak about the barbers who work at Fella’s Barbershop … and they are Adam Stoffella and Hunter Dorazio.  There is also a third barber at that barber shop, but the third barber was not there whenever I went to Fella’s Barbershop a few weeks ago.

I will give my computer a break for a few days in September.  I’ll be doing that from 7 p.m. on Friday, September 6th, until 5 a.m. on Sunday, September 15th.  I will give you two blog posts that week.  On September 8th, I will write a post entitled “Thank you for following my blog for over 5 years!”  I will be thanking the people who have been following my blog for at least five years in this blog post.  Then, on Thursday, September 12th, I will write a blog post entitled “Thank you for following my blog for three to five years!”  In this post, I will thank the people who have followed my blog for three to five years.

I hope you will check out at least one of my blog posts in September.  They may look interesting to you.
