I may be taking my evening walks again soon!

Late last year, I said that I would no longer take my evening walks around National Hill.  Well, I may rethink that idea in the future.  It actually came to me after I happened to bump into one of my neighbors in Great Southern Shopping Center on Friday morning.  Later that day, I would walk around National Hill for a few minutes … and I would do that a few times over the weekend.  While I was walking, I did some thinking … and, this week, I will be walking around National Hill at around 6:25 in the evening.  If it works, I may start walking at my old time again in the future.  So, obviously, at some point after the Fourth of July, I will start walking at around 5:00 on select afternoons … and I will do that mainly on weekdays.

On June 17, 2019, at around 6:30 in the evening, I took my first evening walk around National Hill in several months. I said that I would no longer take my evening walks late last year, but I may reinstate them on a regular basis in just a matter of days. Beginning right after the Fourth of July, I will walk at 5:00 on select afternoons, mainly on weekdays.

If you happen to see me walking outdoors one evening this Summer, please say hello to me … and make sure you speak to me in a respectful and friendly manner.

Next time, I will give you a chance to revisit two of my blog posts from my blog’s fourth year.  One is from April of 2018 … and one is from March of 2018.

In honor of my blog’s fifth year, I’d like to show you five blog posts that I wrote down on or around June 18th in previous years …

Joseph’s Classy Pirates Shirt

I started using my computer at around 5:00 this morning after I was able to give it a break for just over a week.  Today, I would like to talk about another one of my birthday presents … and that would be a grey Pirates T-shirt, which is from Nike.

I like this Pirates shirt a lot.  It is from Nike and it’s one of the classiest Pirates shirts that I have ever owned.  I was able to wear it for a few hours on May 27, 2019 … and I really like it a lot.

I hope you guys like this Pirates shirt as much as I do.  If you like it, please consider buying this grey Pirates shirt at a store near you.

Next time, I will give you a chance to revisit a blog post from my blog’s fourth year … and I will give you a hint.  The post will be from February of 2018.

My Blog Has Been Seen More Than 100 Times In One Week?!

I am giving my computer a break this week, but I will continue to give you some interesting blog posts this week.  I will start using my computer again at 5:00 a.m. on Sunday, June 16th.

For the week of May 27, 2019, my blog was seen more than 100 views in a single week. It has never happened in the history of this blog. When I snapped this photo on June 2, 2019, it was seen 103 times in one week … and, since I snapped the photo, the number increased slightly. It was seen 107 times in a single week just this past week.

As you probably know, I did say that I would have some surprises for you guys during my blog’s fifth year … and you may be surprised in a big way when you see the subject of today’s blog post.  For the first time ever in the history of this blog, my blog surprised the 100-views mark in a single week.  I snapped a photo of my blog doing so back on June 2, 2019 … and, whenever I snapped the photo, it was seen 103 times during the week of May 27, 2019.  Since I snapped that photo, the number increased slightly.  My blog was seen 107 times in a single week this past week.  I don’t think my blog has ever had 100 views in a single week before, but, of course, it may have come close to it on a few occasions.  Thank you for allowing my blog to reach this rather unique milestone this past week.

In honor of my blog’s fifth year, I’d like to show you five blog posts that I wrote down on or around June 14th in previous years …

I’m Getting Ready To Celebrate My Blog’s Fifth Anniversary

This week, I am giving my computer a break, but I will be giving you some interesting blog posts this week.  I will start using my computer again at 5:00 a.m. on Sunday, June 16th.

This Summer, my blog will be celebrating its fifth anniversary…and I will be celebrating it for one month.  I will start celebrating this milestone on July 24th … and it will all lead up to my blog’s fifth anniversary, which will occur on August 24th.  Let me tell you how I’ll be celebrating my blog’s fifth anniversary this Summer.

On July 24th, I will give you the top posts from each of my blog’s features.

On July 25th, I will tell you about the multi-part blog posts that I wrote down over the past five years.

On July 26th, I will give you the poll questions that I asked you guys in some of my blog posts.

On July 28th, I will talk about my blog’s features and I will tell you how many posts have used my features.

On July 29th, I will tell you which people have been following my blog the longest.

On July 30th, I will tell you how many words are in the posts that I have been writing down over the past five years.

On July 31st, I will tell you about my “lesser-known” blog posts.  Since there are so many “lesser-known” posts on my blog, I will save you time by telling you how many of my posts have been seen just one time since I wrote them down.

From August 4th until August 8th, I will talk about each of my blog’s years.  I will talk about my blog’s first year on August 4th, I will talk about my blog’s second year on August 5th, I will talk about my blog’s third year on August 6th, I will talk about my blog’s fourth year on August 7th and I will talk about my blog’s fifth year on August 8th.  I’ll tell you how many times my blog was seen in each of those years … and I’ll tell you how many posts I wrote down in each of those years.

From August 12th until August 15th and from August 19th until August 22nd, I will give you my blog’s statistics in eight of my blog posts.

Finally, on August 24th, I will celebrate my blog’s fifth anniversary by writing a rather big blog post for you guys.  I will basically just thank you guys for supporting my blog over the past five years.  I may throw in a surprise or two for you guys in the post as well.

I hope you will be able to join me this Summer as we prepare to celebrate my blog’s fifth year.  Of course, it will be full of surprises!

I have my Yeti Coolers hat one year later!

This week, I am giving my computer a break.  I will be giving you guys some interesting blog posts throughout the week.  I will start using my computer again at 5:00 a.m. on Sunday, June 16th.

One year ago, I purchased my blue and white Yeti Coolers hat at Bridgeville T.J. Maxx.  I like the hat a lot and I try to wear it as often as possible.  I will try to wear it many times this Summer.  I hope you guys like the hat as much as I do.

Joseph has owned the blue and white Yeti Coolers hat for one year. The hat is full of class!

This hat is fantastic … and it turns me into a classy person.  When I got it last year, I was able to wear it with my camouflaged Yeti shirt for a few hours one afternoon.  It’s a classy combination.

In honor of my blog’s fifth year, I’d like to show you five blog posts that I wrote down on or around June 10th in previous years …

Joseph Has A New Smartphone!

During the second half of my blog’s fourth year, I will give you some chances to revisit my past blog posts … and, throughout June, I will give you chances to revisit blog posts from my blog’s fourth year. Today, I will let you revisit a post from December of 2017 and it is entitled “Joseph Has A New Smartphone!”

In late December 2017, my old LG smartphone froze up after I turned my computer off for the evening. Whenever I went into my “computer room” to pick up the phone, I saw a red Verizon screen … and it would not show anything else after that. I restarted it as often as I could, but no matter what happened, the red Verizon screen would stay on my phone for the longest time. The next morning, whenever my LG phone “died” over just over three years, I was prompted to buy my Motorola smartphone at the Verizon store in Great Southern Shopping Center. I like the Motorola smartphone … and I use it every single day. I will miss my LG smartphone a lot. It served me well for three years, two months and 14 days.

I will be giving my computer a break from 7:00 this evening until 5:00 a.m. on Sunday, June 16th … and I will be giving you three interesting blog posts next week.

In honor of my blog’s fifth year, I’d like to show you five blog posts that I wrote down on or around June 7th in previous years …

Joseph Pratt's Interests And Some Other Things

For just over three years, I have owned a smartphone from LG.  I really liked this phone a lot, but, sadly, my phone’s short life came to an end today.  Its demise actually started last evening just moments after I turned off my computer.  It would freeze up many times, no matter how many times I tried to get it to stop freezing up.  I had experienced every emotion in the book at that time.  I was in denial then … and I was both sad and angry at the same time.

Now, this morning, after I tried to unfreeze it many times, I was able to buy a new smartphone, after the phone would stay frozen for hours at a time.  I was able to buy a phone from Motorola … and, so far, I really like it a lot.  It’s slightly smaller than my LG smartphone is.

Joseph Remembers His Battle With Lyme Disease Three Years Later

Three years ago today, I was diagnosed with Lyme Disease at St. Clair Hospital after I got bit by a tick at my “undisclosed location” a few days earlier.  Almost immediately, I started taking medicine for it and I was doing so for several days.  My Lyme Disease symptoms went away slowly, but surely whenever I took this medicine.  Since then, I have been doing fairly well.  Please stay safe if you are gonna go outdoors this tick season.

Next time, I will give you a chance to revisit one of my blog posts from my blog’s fourth year … and it will be from December of 2017.
