I have owned my leather jacket for one year!

For just over one year, I have owned my black leather jacket, which is from Vintage Leather.  I purchased the jacket for around 135 dollars or so on kohls.com.  It is one of two jackets that turns me into “Mr. Classy.”  The other one is the grey Michael Kors jacket, of course.  I’ve worn the jacket a few times over the past year … and I will try to wear it many times this Winter.

In honor of my blog’s fifth year, I’d like to show you five blog posts that I wrote down on or around November 19th in previous years …

An “ode” to a friend named “Deek”

If you were growing up in the ’90s like me, you may have seen a rather unique logo on television.  It was for a production company called DiC.  It was pronounced “Deek” … and you heard someone say the word almost every single time.

I’m not going to talk about that company, but I would like to talk about the word “Deek” itself.  In fact, one of my friends sometimes uses that name.  His real name is Derek Cryblskey.  I talked about him in a blog post earlier this year.  Derek is a terrific friend and a classy neighbor.  He is polite, funny and down-to-earth.  Sometimes, I call him “Deek.”  Again, he’s just a terrific friend.

On May 19, 2018, me and Derek Cryblskey, who is one of my friends, were able to wear the camouflaged Yeti shirts with class. Derek is one of the classiest people that I’ve ever known.

Joseph’s Halloween Costume For 2018

This blog post was originally supposed to be written on October 22, 2018, but, since my computer crashed on that day, I will write this blog post on October 26, 2018.  It was supposed to be my 982nd blog post, but now, it will be my 985th blog post.  Thank you for your understanding.

After giving this a lot of thought over the past several days, I have finally chosen the costume that I’ll be writing on Halloween night this year.

This year, I have decided that I will be a “swaggy weatherman” for Halloween this year.  I hope you guys will like the costume as much as I do.

Joseph’s 978th Blog Post Is About Route 978

Today, I’m writing my 978th blog post down … and it will be about one of my favorite roadways in the Pittsburgh area.  That roadway is Route 978.  It starts near Gladden and it ends near Imperial.

I have traveled on Route 978 many, many times in my life … and I really like the roadway a lot.  One of my relatives lives right on that roadway … and some of my favorite businesses are located on the roadway.  I could ride on this roadway all day long, if I could.  It’s just a great roadway.

Over the years, I have gone to a lot of exciting places, which are located along Route 978 … and I’ve talked about some of those businesses in my blog posts over the past four years.

Celebrating Five Years Of Friendship With DJ Joe

In September of 2013, I went to Bee’z Bistro and Pub with my aunt and my uncle … and, while I was there, I walked into the bar and I happened to talk to DJ Joe for the first time.  His real name is Joe Cohen.  A few days later, I became an official fan of his work … and I would also become one of his Facebook friends.  We officially became friends on Facebook five years ago today … and, just days later, we became real-life friends as well.  I keep in touch with him in many different ways whenever I have the time to do so.

Over the past five years, I have bumped into DJ Joe at Bee’z several times … and I have snapped several selfies with him.  In the selfies, we would wear button-down shirts, leather jackets, Nirvana shirts and even the grey Michael Kors jackets.  In May, we wore our Macho Man shirts to Bee’z … and we wore our shirts in some selfies that same evening.  The purple Macho Man shirts are now the “de facto” shirts of our friendship.

Keep being classy, DJ Joe!  You are, indeed, a “macho” friend.  Thank you for being one of my friends for the past five years.

Next time, I will write my 975th blog post down … and I will make an announcement in that blog posts.  Parts of it will be good and parts of it will be bad.

Joseph’s New Glasses

If you were able to see me in my videos and/or my photos on Social Media over the past few days or so, you may have noticed something different about me.  If you looked very closely, you may have noticed that I was not wearing my Joseph Abboud glasses.  That’s because I got new glasses at Three Guys Optical, which is located in Collier Township, over the weekend.  I have owned my previous glasses for more than two years.

“Captain Cool” is the “epitome of cool!”

Today, Chuck Lazzini, who is known as “Captain Cool,” is celebrating a birthday … and he also checks out my blog whenever he has time.  He’s also an occasional follower of this blog.  Well, anyway, he’s one of the coolest and classiest friends that I have ever known … and we both have the purple Mount Union Raiders T-shirts and the green South Fayette Lions Lacrosse pullover tops.

This past Saturday, we were able to wear both of our tops with class while we were at our respective locations … and, after seeing him wearing the green lacrosse pullover top in a photo over the weekend, I thought that he was, indeed, the “epitome of cool.”  So, as you might have guessed, “Captain Cool” is the “epitome of cool!”

I would just like to say “happy birthday” to a cool and classy friend.  Happy birthday, “Captain Cool!”

Joseph has owned a grey Chaps sweater for one year now!

Can you believe it?  It has been just over one year since I purchased a grey Chaps sweater at Bridgeville T.J. Maxx.  I’ve worn it a few times since I purchased it … and I’ll be wearing it as often as I can this Fall.  The sweater is full of class … and I really like it a lot.

Joseph Bumps Into Jay At His Office

Now, back in July of 2016, I bumped into Jay Papuga at a festival, which took place at Sts. Simon and Jude School in Scott Township.  He had a State Farm booth at the event.  We had only been friends for a short time when I bumped into him the first time.

On August 31, 2018, I bumped into Jay while me and my mother were visitng him at his office in Presto.  Ironically, he was wearing the same State Farm shirt that he wore whenever he bumped into me at the festival in Scott Township two years earlier.

Jay is still one of the classiest friends that I have ever known … and, hopefully, I can bump into him again soon.  Maybe he’ll wear that State Farm shirt again.  Who knows?
