My Blog Has Been Seen More Than 100 Times In One Week?!

I am giving my computer a break this week, but I will continue to give you some interesting blog posts this week.  I will start using my computer again at 5:00 a.m. on Sunday, June 16th.

For the week of May 27, 2019, my blog was seen more than 100 views in a single week. It has never happened in the history of this blog. When I snapped this photo on June 2, 2019, it was seen 103 times in one week … and, since I snapped the photo, the number increased slightly. It was seen 107 times in a single week just this past week.

As you probably know, I did say that I would have some surprises for you guys during my blog’s fifth year … and you may be surprised in a big way when you see the subject of today’s blog post.  For the first time ever in the history of this blog, my blog surprised the 100-views mark in a single week.  I snapped a photo of my blog doing so back on June 2, 2019 … and, whenever I snapped the photo, it was seen 103 times during the week of May 27, 2019.  Since I snapped that photo, the number increased slightly.  My blog was seen 107 times in a single week this past week.  I don’t think my blog has ever had 100 views in a single week before, but, of course, it may have come close to it on a few occasions.  Thank you for allowing my blog to reach this rather unique milestone this past week.

In honor of my blog’s fifth year, I’d like to show you five blog posts that I wrote down on or around June 14th in previous years …

I’m Getting Ready To Celebrate My Blog’s Fifth Anniversary

This week, I am giving my computer a break, but I will be giving you some interesting blog posts this week.  I will start using my computer again at 5:00 a.m. on Sunday, June 16th.

This Summer, my blog will be celebrating its fifth anniversary…and I will be celebrating it for one month.  I will start celebrating this milestone on July 24th … and it will all lead up to my blog’s fifth anniversary, which will occur on August 24th.  Let me tell you how I’ll be celebrating my blog’s fifth anniversary this Summer.

On July 24th, I will give you the top posts from each of my blog’s features.

On July 25th, I will tell you about the multi-part blog posts that I wrote down over the past five years.

On July 26th, I will give you the poll questions that I asked you guys in some of my blog posts.

On July 28th, I will talk about my blog’s features and I will tell you how many posts have used my features.

On July 29th, I will tell you which people have been following my blog the longest.

On July 30th, I will tell you how many words are in the posts that I have been writing down over the past five years.

On July 31st, I will tell you about my “lesser-known” blog posts.  Since there are so many “lesser-known” posts on my blog, I will save you time by telling you how many of my posts have been seen just one time since I wrote them down.

From August 4th until August 8th, I will talk about each of my blog’s years.  I will talk about my blog’s first year on August 4th, I will talk about my blog’s second year on August 5th, I will talk about my blog’s third year on August 6th, I will talk about my blog’s fourth year on August 7th and I will talk about my blog’s fifth year on August 8th.  I’ll tell you how many times my blog was seen in each of those years … and I’ll tell you how many posts I wrote down in each of those years.

From August 12th until August 15th and from August 19th until August 22nd, I will give you my blog’s statistics in eight of my blog posts.

Finally, on August 24th, I will celebrate my blog’s fifth anniversary by writing a rather big blog post for you guys.  I will basically just thank you guys for supporting my blog over the past five years.  I may throw in a surprise or two for you guys in the post as well.

I hope you will be able to join me this Summer as we prepare to celebrate my blog’s fifth year.  Of course, it will be full of surprises!

In honor of my blog’s fifth year, I’d like to show you five blog posts that I wrote down on or around June 12th in previous years …

Joseph’s Top Blog Posts For June 2019

June is almost here … and Summer will be here in less than one month.  Now, throughout the Summer, I will be celebrating my blog’s fifth anniversary by giving you some great surprises … and, while I do that, my blog’s features will be taking a well-deserved break until the Fall.  I guess you could say my features will literally be taking a Summer vacation.

Today, I will tell you about some of the blog posts that I’ll be writing down in June.  At least one of the posts may catch your eye.

One of my blog posts will be entitled “I still have my Colussy Chevrolet shirt one year later!”  Nearly one year ago, I got a blue and white Raglan shirt from Colussy Chevrolet, which was celebrating its 100th anniversary last year.  I still like the shirt and I will try to wear it at some point this Summer.

Another one of my blog posts will be entitled “I have my Yeti Coolers hat one year later!”  I purchased my blue Yeti Coolers hat at Bridgeville T.J. Maxx nearly one year ago.  I like it and I will try to wear it often this Summer.  The hat is very classy and I hope you guys like it also.

Another one of my blog posts will be entitled “Joseph Remembers His Battle With Lyme Disease Three Years Later.”  In it, I will talk about me getting Lyme Disease from a tick bite three years ago.

Another one of my blog posts will be entitled “I’m Getting Ready To Celebrate My Blog’s Fifth Anniversary.”  I will be getting ready to celebrate my blog’s fifth anniversary on August 24th … and, in this post, I will be telling you how I’ll be celebrating the milestone.  The celebration will start on July 24th … and it will last for one month.  I will have lots of surprises for you guys between July 24th and August 24th.

I will write a two-part blog post in June … and it will be entitled “Joseph Visit Crazy Horse Coffee.”  In it, I will talk about my trips to Crazy Horse Coffee, which is located in Washington, PA.  The coffee shop is owned by a former veteran named James Bendel.  This coffee shop is fantastic.  I had a small decaffeinated latte while I was there.  Make sure you check this place out if you ride through Washington, PA, someday.

Another one of my blog posts will be entitled “6,000 Views And Counting.”  My blog will hit the 6,000-views mark at some point in June … and I will let you know as soon as we hit that milestone.

I will give my features a break in June … and, throughout the month of June, I will give you chances to revisit some blog posts from my blog’s fourth year.  Some of them may surprise you.

Also, I will give my computer a break for one week in June.  I will be doing that from around 7:00 p.m. on Friday, June 7th, until around 5:00 a.m. on Sunday, June 16th.  You will see two of these blog posts at different times between those two dates … and I may throw in a surprise in there at some point that week.

I hope you will check out at least one of my blog posts in June.  I’m sure at least one of them may catch your eye.

During the second half of my blog’s fifth year, I will give you a chance to revisit some of my past blog posts. Today, I will let you revisit some of the blog posts that I wrote down in the Summer of 2017 … and they are all about my new bathroom.

In the Summer of 2017, we were remodeling our bathroom for about 2 1/2 weeks … and, during that time, we had to use the restroom downstairs … and, yes, that meant we had to do that in the middle of the night as well. I talked about my new bathroom in some of my blog posts nearly two years ago. I still like our new bathroom nearly two years later … and I hope you guys do as well. It looks fantastic. We were able to put it to use right after The Fourth Of July back in 2017.

I would like to show you some of the other blog posts that I wrote down in the Summer of 2017 … and, in them, I’m talking about our new bathroom …

Let’s Talk About A Past Blog Post: Does this dude have class or what?

In December of 2016, I wrote a blog post entitled “Does this dude have class or what?”  In it, I talked about my beige John Ashford sweater, which I got as a Christmas present back then.  When I started to wear the sweater for the first time, I thought that it would give me a class turn me into a “classy dude” … and, boy, was I right about that!  Every time I wear it, it gives me class.  I was inspired to write the blog post because I was able to wear one of the classiest sweaters in my wardrobe.  I really like this sweater a lot … and I hope you all like it also.

Here’s the link to the blog post …

Joseph Likes The Southern Beltway!

IMG_20190418_093448494
On April 18, 2019, after I left Fella’s Barber Shop in McDonald, I snapped this photo of the bridge, which is part of the new Southern Beltway. The bridge goes over Route 980 near McDonald.

On April 18, 2019, I went to Fella’s Barber Shop in McDonald … and, after I left the barber shop that morning, I snapped a photo of the bridge, which is part of the new Southern Beltway.  The bridge is gonna go over Route 980 in McDonald.  Sorry it wasn’t a good picture of the bridge, but it sort of tells you that it will make a fantastic addition to the new highway.

Over the past couple of years or so, I have been able to see the Southern Beltway being built, whether I ride through McDonald or Gladden.  It’s part of Route 576 … and, so far, it looks fantastic.  Our part of the highway should open at some point this Summer … and the whole highway will be completed in about two years.  I have ridden on one part of it already.  It’s the part that goes from Route 22 near Bavington to Interstate 376 at Pittsburgh International Airport in Findlay Township.  I like the roadway so far … and I can’t wait until they finish building it.  It will be a great roadway to ride on and see whenever it’s finished.

Now, over the years, I have gotten used to seeing a four-lane highway near my house … and it won’t be long before I’ll have to get used to seeing two four-lane highways near my house.  One of them is Route 50, which was first built as a four-lane highway in the 1970s, and the other one is the Southern Beltway, which will open in about two years.

Tomorrow, as we wrap up the month of April, I’m going to give you a chance to revisit the last blog post from my blog’s second year … and I wrote the post down in August of 2016.

In honor of my blog’s fifth year, I’d like to show you five blog posts that I wrote down on or around April 29th in previous years …

My fame actually lasted longer than one second!

During the second half of my blog’s fifth year, I will give you a chance to revisit some of my past blog posts. Today, I’m going to let you revisit a blog post from March of 2016.

Back in March of 2016, I went to the Home and Garden Show with a relative. It was at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Downtown Pittsburgh. Now, WPXI always talks about this event in one form or another in its newscasts during the month of March … and I just happened to walk past one of its cameras while I was looking at the exhibits upstairs. Now, little did I know, I would actually appear on WPXI’s newscasts not long after I walked in front of one of the station’s cameras. I didn’t see a red light on it or anything. I guess it must have been on whenever I walked past it. Whenever they showed the event the first time, I appeared on the station for about one second … and, then, when they showed it again a few days later, I was on there for about 5-10 seconds. I was on both WPXI and PCNC that month. I have appeared on WPXI before whenever they would do the MDA Telethon at either Monroeville Mall or the Galleria at Pittsburgh Mills. I was putting money into their “fish bowl” whenever I appeared on Channel 11. I was on there several times back in the 2000s. Now, when I appeared on the MDA Telethon on WPXI, I spoke for a second or two … and, when I appeared on WPXI and PCNC three years ago, I said nothing. I guess you could say I have become a “local star” in some form.

In honor of my blog’s fifth year, I’d like to show you five blog posts that I wrote down on or around April 23rd in previous years …

Later that evening, I appeared on one of PCNC’s newscasts. Several days later, I appeared on Channel 11’s Sunday Morning newscast for a few seconds.

A few days ago, I appeared on one of PCNC’s newscasts for about one second while they were talking about the Home & Garden Show.  Well, one week later, they talked about it again on Channel 11’s Sunday Morning newscasts … and they showed a clip of me walking past one of their cameras … and I was actually on that newscast for about 5-10 seconds or so.  So, my fame actually lasted longer than one second.

“Mr. Classy” Comes To Fruition!

During the second half of my blog’s fifth year, I’m going to give you a chance to revisit some of my past blog posts … and, today, I’m going to give you a chance to revisit two blog posts from my blog’s second year.

I’m going to show you a blog post from January of 2016 and I will also show you a link to a blog post from December of 2015. In the blog posts, I’m going to talk about my grey Michael Kors jacket, which I have owned since December of 2015. In a way, you’re going to hear the story about how “Mr. Classy” came to fruition. It actually started just days after I bought my grey MK jacket at T.J. Maxx. Whenever we were about to start 2016 together, I decided to call myself “Mr. Classy” whenever I would wear the grey Michael Kors jacket. A friend of mine inspired me to become a classy person at around that time … and, after seeing my friend begin to call myself “Mr. Grey” occasionally, I decided that I would call myself “Mr. Classy” whenever I would wear the grey MK jacket. I gave myself that nickname because the grey MK jacket turns me into a classy person … and the name “Mr. Classy” sort of stuck with me. In the Fall of 2017, “Mr. Classy” got a second jacket, which was the black Vintage Leather jacket. The jacket is from Kohl’s. Like the grey MK jacket, the black leather jacket, which is from Vintage Leather, is very classy as well. Now, “Mr. Classy” has twice as much class as he once had. In just a matter of weeks, “Mr. Classy” will be able to add a half-zip top to his wardrobe, so he will soon have three times as much class as he once has!

As you can see here, “Mr. Classy” has developed a huge following, both on this blog and on Social Media. Will “Mr. Classy” wear the grey MK jacket or the black leather jacket from Vintage Leather again next time? Only time will tell. He may wear the new half-zip top in a few weeks!

I’m going to show you the link to the blog post, which is about me buying my grey Michael Kors jacket … https://pghjoseph.wordpress.com/2015/12/12/my-new-grey-michael-kors-jacket/

IMG_20160106_044647 I like this grey Michael Kors jacket a lot … and whenever I wear it, I become “Mr. Classy.”

As you probably know, I really like my grey Michael Kors jacket a lot!  It’s one of my favorite jackets ever!  It makes me feel classy, in my opinion.  So, therefore, I’ve decided to become “Mr. Classy” whenever I wear this jacket.  I won’t use that nickname regularly, but I will use it whenever I wear my grey M.K. jacket.  A friend of mine sort of inspired me to become a classy person … and I have been a classy person ever since.  This friend of mine uses the name “Mr. Grey” … and it sort of inspired me to come up with a similar nickname for myself … and that’s how I came up with the nickname “Mr. Classy.”  As I finish writing today’s blog post, I would like to…
