Say hello to Dom Lazzini

During the second half of my blog’s fifth year, I will give you chances to revisit some of my past blog posts … and, throughout the month of July, I will give you chances to revisit some posts from my blog’s fifth year. Today, I will let you revisit a post from May of 2019 … and it is entitled “Say hello to Dom Lazzini.”

On May 4, 2019, I went to South Fayette Stadium for the first time since I went to South Fayette High School in the 2000s. I went to a lacrosse game with one of my relatives late that morning. I wore my green South Fayette Lions Lacrosse pullover to the game … and my friend, Chuck Lazzini, wore his green top to the game as well. That was sort of planned. We also wore the tops to South Fayette Fire Hall just over two months earlier. Anyway, I bumped into Chuck Lazzini’s son, Dom, while I was there … and Dom was nice enough to appear in a photo with both me and Chuck while I was at South Fayette Stadium. Dom was literally surrounded by two classy people that day … and meeting Dom in person is an experience that I won’t soon forget. He is one of the classiest people that I have ever known.

In honor of my blog’s fifth year, I’d like to show you five blog posts that I wrote down on or around July 17th in previous years …

Joseph Pratt's Interests And Some Other Things

Over the weekend, I saw a lacrosse game at South Fayette Stadium … and I really enjoyed it, even though one of South Fayette’s Lacrosse teams lost by one point in overtime.  I still like South Fayette’s Lacrosse team a lot.

I bumped into one of this blog’s followers, Chuck Lazzini, while I was at the game … and we both had our green lacrosse pullovers on while we were there.  Also, while I was at the game, I bumped into Chuck’s son, Dom.  Dom is a very classy person.  He’s also a classy lacrosse player.  He played for South Fayette’s lacrosse team in the past … and now he plays for Mount Union’s lacrosse team, which is located in Ohio.  I also wore my Mount Union shirt underneath of my top … and Chuck wore a Mount Union hat that morning.

Revisiting Joseph’s 700th Blog Post

During the second half of my blog’s fifth year, I will give you some chances to revisit some of my past blog posts. Today, I am going to let you revisit my 700th blog post, which is the last blog post from my blog’s third year.

In August of 2017, I went to Maestro’s Barber Shop and I was able to wear my Maestro’s Barber Shop T-shirt to that place. Me and most of the other barbers were able to wear the shirts in a photo that I took just before I left the barber shop back on August 2, 2017. I wrote a blog post about it nearly two weeks later and it ended up becoming my 700th blog post. As I stated in a previous blog post not too long ago, I’m currently not going to Maestro’s Barber Shop as a customer, but there is a possibility that I may return there as a customer again in the near future. These barbers are some of the best ones in the Pittsburgh area.

I would like to thank Tony Talotta and the other barbers at Maestro’s Barber Shop, which is located in Bridgeville, for allowing me to have a Maestro’s Barber Shop T-shirt. I would like to apologize for not being able to visit that barber shop for a while. I wanted to try something different. I will do my best to return to that barber shop at some point this year.

This is not my 700th blog post.  This is my 1,131st blog post.  I’m just letting you revisit my 700th blog post.

In honor of my blog’s fifth year, I’d like to show you five blog posts that I wrote down on or around May 29th in previous years …

Joseph Pratt's Interests And Some Other Things

My blog reached another milestone today.  I’m gonna write down my 700th blog post today.

My 700th blog post is gonna be about some of the coolest and classiest people that I have ever known.  These people all work at a place called Maestro’s Barber Shop in Bridgeville.  I actually went to school with one of those barbers … and I also knew some of these barbers whenever they were working at the Great Southern Barber Shop in Collier Township.  I was able to appear in a photo with four of those barbers recently … and most of us were able to wear our Maestro’s Barbershop shirts at the barber shop a few days ago.

Joseph’s New “Dragon Ball Z” T-Shirt

Today, I would like to show you another present that I got for my 33rd birthday.  It would be a blue “Dragon Ball Z” T-Shirt.  Now, I already have an orange “Dragon Ball Z” zip-up hoodie, which is from Ripple Junction.  I got it in the mail back in 2015 … and I like it a lot.  The “Dragon Ball Z” T-Shirt, which is from Wal-Mart, is the second “Dragon Ball Z” shirt that I have ever owned.  My neighbor, Michael Spicer, got me the “Dragon Ball Z” shirt for my birthday … and I really like it a lot.  I would like to thank him for getting it for me and for allowing me to have a classy shirt of my own.

As you can see here, I like my new “Dragon Ball Z” T-shirt a lot and I will be wearing it many times in the future.  Thank you, Michael Spicer, for getting me a classy T-shirt for my 33rd birthday.

Next time, I will give you a chance to revisit some more of my blog posts from my blog’s third year.  I wrote the posts in the summer of 2017.

My New Maestro’s Barber Shop T-Shirt

During the second half of my blog’s fifth year, I will give you a chance to revisit some of my past blog posts. Today, I will give you a chance to revisit a post from my blog’s third year … and it’s from May 2017. The post is entitled “My New Maestro’s Barber Shop T-Shirt.”

Now, two days before I wrote this blog post, I got my black Maestro’s Barber Shop T-shirt after I had gotten my haircut that morning. The T-shirt is fantastic … and I have worn it several times since I got it just over two years ago. On the front of the shirt, you can see the logo for Maestro’s Barber Shop … and you can see a bigger logo on the back of the shirt. The barber shop’s phone number is on the back of the shirt … and I covered up the number so that I could show you the back of the shirt safely. I had gone to Maestro’s Barber Shop for more than three years as a customer, but I haven’t gone there since October of 2018, but I do go past it every chance I get. I’m currently going to Fella’s Barbershop in McDonald, but I may consider going back to Maestro’s Barber Shop in the future. The barbers there are fantastic … and I actually went to South Fayette High School with Tony Talotta, who owns the barber shop. Even though I’m not going to Maestro’s Barber Shop as a customer at this time, I will continue to support it for a long time and I will continue to wear the shirt whenever I possibly can.

In honor of my blog’s fifth year, I’d like to show you five blog posts that I wrote down on or around May 22nd in previous years …

Blog Post Number 1,125

Today, I am writing my 1,125th blog post down … and it will be about my Henley shirt, which is from Railyard Grill and Tap Room.  This is probably one of the classiest shirts that I have ever owned.  I got the shirt last month while I was at the restaurant.  The Henley shirt is both light grey and dark grey … and the sleeves are 3/4 inches long.  There are three buttons on the Henley shirt … and “Railyard Tap Room” appears on the front part of the Henley shirt.  The shirt can be worn with jeans, shorts or dress pants.  You can either wear the Henley shirt by itself or you can wear it over a T-shirt.

This is Joseph’s Henley shirt, which is from Railyard Grill and Tap Room in Bridgeville. The shirt is both light grey and dark grey, the sleeves are 3/4 inches long and there are three buttons on the shirt. The restaurant’s name is on the front part of the shirt.

I bought the shirt for 25 dollars while I was at the restaurant last month.

The Henley shirt is 25 dollars at Railyard Grill and Tap Room. It’s a classy shirt.

Just moments after I bought the shirt back on April 7, 2019, I tired it on … and it would fit me perfectly.  I snapped a selfie just minutes after I bought the shirt … and I snapped two photos of myself wearing the shirt four days later.

When I celebrated my 33rd birthday on May 1st, I wore my Henley shirt since I would be going to the Railyard Grill and Tap Room for lunch on that day.  I wore my shirt both at home and at the restaurant on that day.  Now, while I was at the restaurant, I bumped into Nicholas Ciesielski, who wore his Henley shirt to the restaurant then.  He was scheduled to come in later in the afternoon, but he was nice enough to stop in early to wish me a happy birthday and to appear in a selfie with me.

On May 21, 2019, I went to the Railyard Grill and Tap Room for lunch … and, this time, I bumped into Cody Ciesielski while I was there.  Cody worked with me several years ago at Bridgeville T.J. Maxx and he’s a terrific friend of mine.  Cody and I both had our Henley shirts on while we were at the restaurant.

Next time, I will give you a chance to revisit a blog post from my blog’s third year … and it’s from the Spring of 2017.  I will give you a hint … I will talk about a shirt, which is from another classy business.  The business is also in Bridgeville.

Joseph Is Still “Built For The Wild” One Year Later!

Just over one year ago, I bought my camouflaged Yeti shirt at Bridgeville T.J. Maxx … and I’m still “Built For The Wild” one yera later.  I have worn the shirt a few times over the past year … and it gives me class whenever I wear it.  I liked it so much, I talked one of my friends into buying one … and his name is Derek Cryblskey.  The shirts give us class … and I actually talked about Derek in two of my blog posts last year.  So, as you may have guessed, I am still “built for the wild” one year later.

I have been able to wear my camouflaged Yeti shirt with class for just over one year now.  I hope you guys like the shirt as much as I do.

We have the exact same birthday!

During the second half of my blog’s fifth year, I will give you a chance to revisit some of my past blog posts. Throughout May, I will give you a chance to revisit some of my blog posts from my blog’s third year.

Today, I’m going to let you revisit a blog post from December of 2016 … and it’s entitled “We have the exact same birthday!” In it, I was talking about the time that I bumped into my friend, Ryan Wolf. We both went to South Fayette High School in the 2000s … and we are both terrific friends. Five days before I wrote this blog post, I bumped into Ryan on a Friday evening at the Giant Eagle store in South Fayette. They were having a concert with the Bridgeville Brass … and I was able to hear them play Christmas songs while I bumped into Ryan. Now, in this post, I also said that me and Ryan both have the exact same birthday, which is May 1, 1986. Of course, as friends, we have at least one thing in common … and having the exact same birthday is something that we both have in common.

Since I wrote this blog post, Ryan no longer resides near South Fayette. He lives near Wheeling, West Virginia … and he does visit the Bridgeville area occasionally. We both keep in touch with each other in many different ways.

In honor of my blog’s fifth year, I’d like to show you five blog posts that I wrote down on or around May 14th in previous years …

Joseph Pratt's Interests And Some Other Things

img_20161223_175030 On the evening of December 23, 2016, I bumped into Ryan Wolf, who is both my friend and my classmate. Believe it or not, we both have the same exact birthday, which is May 1, 1986.

On December 23, 2016, I bumped into Ryan Wolf for the first time in over two years.  I actually bumped into him at our 10-year class reunion back in the summer of 2014.

We are both friends and classmates … and, believe it or not, we were both born on the exact same day, which is May 1, 1986.  What are the odds of having two friends being born on the same day?  I don’t really know.  Ryan is one of the coolest and classiest friends that I have ever known.

Joseph Has Owned His Grey Penguins Shirt For Three Years Now!

For just over three years, I have owned a classy grey Pittsburgh Penguins T-shirt.  I bought it for less than 10 dollars at Bridgeville T.J. Maxx.  It was almost too good to pass up.  After I bought the shirt at T.J. Maxx one afternoon back in May of 2016, I was able to talk my friend, Chuck Lazzini, who occasionally follows this blog, into buying that Penguins shirt at Bridgeville T.J. Maxx.  We have been able to wear them with class over the past three years.  I have worn the shirt with blue jeans, white jeans, dress pants, gym shorts, cargo shorts and even my blue and white Puma pants.

As you can see in these pictures, I like this grey Penguins T-shirt a lot … and my friend, Chuck Lazzini, is able to wear his with class on some occasions.  I will try to wear it many times in the future.

Next time, I will give you a chance to revisit a post from my blog’s third year … and it will be about one of my friends.  I wrote the post in late 2016.
