Joseph’s Top Blog Posts For November 2018

November is almost here already … and, before you know it, 2018 will be coming to an end.  At some point in November, I will write my 1,000th blog post down … and it could be about anything.  Since I will be celebrating this milestone throughout the first half of November, I will be giving my features my break in November.  Also, as I prepare to write my 1,000th blog post in just a matter of days, I will write a 10-part blog post, which will be entitled “Joseph’s Road To His 1,000th Blog Post.”  In it, I will talk about my blog’s biggest milestones ever.  If everything goes according to plan, I will being my “road” to my 1,000th blog post on Thursday.

Of course, after I write my 1,000th blog post in the middle of November and after I celebrate the milestone, I will give you some great blog posts along the way.  One of my blog posts will be entitled “An ‘ode’ to a friend named ‘Deek.'”  It will be about my friend Derek Cryblskey, who sometimes likes to be called “Deek.”

Another one of my blog posts will be entitled “I have owned my leather jacket for one year!”  I’m referring to my black leather jacket, which is from Vintage Leather.  I purchased it on kohls.com just last year.  It’s one of two jackets that turns me into “Mr. Classy.”  The other jacket, of course, is the grey Michael Kors jacket.

“Mr. Classy” and the grey Michael Kors jacket will be the subjects of the blog post that I’m about to tell you about.  This post will be entitled “Will the real ‘Mr. Classy’ please stand up?”  This post will be about “Mr. Classy” and his “stand-in,” whose name is Tim Smith.  Hopefully, we can wear our jackets on Thanksgiving Day this year.  If we can’t do that, I will give you guys a back-up blog post instead.

Another one of my blog posts will be entitled “Joseph Has Another Classy Item To Show You.”  I may buy another classy item at T.J. Maxx soon.  If I do buy the item, I will talk about it in this blog post.

I will give my blog a break for Halloween, but, beginning this Thursday, I will start my road to my 1,000th blog post.

I hope you guys will help me celebrate my 1,000th blog post in November … and I hope you will check out my 1,000th blog post when it does come out in the middle of November.  Don’t forget to check out my other blog posts throughout November as well.

Enjoy your day!

In honor of my blog’s fifth year, I’d like to show you five blog posts that I wrote down on or around October 30th in previous years …

Bring On The Puma Jackets!

Since the Spring of 2012, I have been able to own at least one Puma jacket … and, now, I have three of them.  One is a blue and white Agile jacket, one is a blue Clyde jacket and one is a grey and black fleece jacket.  The Puma jacket that I like the best is the grey and black Puma jacket, which I got as a birthday present back in April.  I like it a lot … and I was able to talk my friend, Michael Keehn, into buying one online at around the same time.  He likes it as much as I do.

We were supposed to wear the jackets to Hickory’s Apple Festival earlier this month, but it was too hot for us to do that.  We were able to wear them at our respective locations on October 13th.  The jackets are full of class and swag.  Hopefully, we can wear them somewhere soon.

Celebrating Five Years Of Friendship With DJ Joe

In September of 2013, I went to Bee’z Bistro and Pub with my aunt and my uncle … and, while I was there, I walked into the bar and I happened to talk to DJ Joe for the first time.  His real name is Joe Cohen.  A few days later, I became an official fan of his work … and I would also become one of his Facebook friends.  We officially became friends on Facebook five years ago today … and, just days later, we became real-life friends as well.  I keep in touch with him in many different ways whenever I have the time to do so.

Over the past five years, I have bumped into DJ Joe at Bee’z several times … and I have snapped several selfies with him.  In the selfies, we would wear button-down shirts, leather jackets, Nirvana shirts and even the grey Michael Kors jackets.  In May, we wore our Macho Man shirts to Bee’z … and we wore our shirts in some selfies that same evening.  The purple Macho Man shirts are now the “de facto” shirts of our friendship.

Keep being classy, DJ Joe!  You are, indeed, a “macho” friend.  Thank you for being one of my friends for the past five years.

Next time, I will write my 975th blog post down … and I will make an announcement in that blog posts.  Parts of it will be good and parts of it will be bad.

In honor of my blog’s fifth year, I’d like to show you five blog posts that I wrote down on or around October 10th in previous years …

Joseph’s Top Blog Posts For October 2018

Can you believe it?  The 2018 Fall season is here … and, before you know it, the month of October will be here.  I will be giving you guys some terrific blog posts in October … and my features will be coming back also.  While I won’t be writing my 1,000th blog post in October, I will talk about it in a blog post at some point during that month.

I will write my 975th blog post in October.  I will make an announcement in the blog post.  Some parts of it will be good and some parts of it will be bad.  I will probably experience every emotion whenever I write that blog post down.

Another one of my blog posts will be entitled “Joseph’s 978th Blog Post Is About Route 978!”  In it, I will talk about my love for Route 978, which is located near my house.  It’s a fantastic roadway, in my opinion.

Another one of my blog posts will be entitled “Joseph’s wisdom teeth have been gone for three years now!”  I will talk about this milestone in a blog post in October.

Another one of my blog posts will be entitled “Happy 4th Birthday, Scarlett!”  Scarlett is one of my cousins … and she will turn four years old in late October.  In the blog post, I will wish Scarlett a happy 4th birthday.

Another one of my blog posts will be entitled “Bring On The Puma Jackets!”  Me and one of my friends, who will remain nameless for the time being, could be wearing our grey and black Puma jackets to a local festival on October 6th.  I will write the blog post, if that happens.  If it doesn’t happen, I will just talk about the Puma jackets in the blog post instead.

In two of my blog posts, I will tell you about my possible Halloween costumes for 2018.  In one of the blog posts, which will be called “Joseph’s Possible Halloween Costumes For 2018,” I will give you three suggestions as to what costumes I may wear in 2018.  In another post, which is called “Joseph’s Halloween Costume For 2018,” I will tell you about the costume that I’ll be wearing on Halloween night this year.

Another one of my blog posts will be entitled “Celebrating Five Years Of Friendship With DJ Joe.”  In the fall of 2013, I became friends with DJ Joe, whose real name is Joe Cohen.  I have bumped into him several times over the past five years.

I will use my features in October.  Let me tell you how I’ll be using them this time.

I hope you will check out at least one of my blog posts in October.  I will write my 1,000th blog post at some point in November.  It will be about something that’s exciting.

In honor of my blog’s fifth year, I’d like to show you five blog posts that I wrote down on or around September 26th in previous years …

Does “Mr. Classy” have a new “stand-in?”

This is a blog post that I had been wanting to write down for sometime … and, today, I get to do just that.

Now, in June of 2016, I became friends with a terrific person named Jonathan Reed.  Just in case you don’t know who he is, he’s married to a person that I went to school with more than 10 years ago.  Anyway, I “hired” him to become Mr. Classy’s “stand-in” just days after we became friends.  This way, he would be able to step up to the plate whenever “Mr. Classy” was unable to fulfill his duties.  He wasn’t able to do that too much, but he still did a fantastic job as Mr. Classy’s “stand-in.”  He gave up his duties whenever he had to part with the grey MK jacket.

This is Mr. Classy’s original “stand-in” … and his name is Jonathan Reed.  He was able to wear his grey MK jacket with class for a few months.  He gave up his duties as Mr. Classy’s “stand-in” whenever he parted with his grey MK jacket.

On August 16, 2018, “Mr. Classy” hired a new “stand-in” … and he would be able to fulfill Mr. Classy’s duties whenever he is unable to do so.  Of course, his new “stand-in” is a classy person.  Let me tell who “Mr. Classy” has hired to be his new “stand-in.”  His name is … Tim Smith.  Tim is a terrific person … and he is doing a fantastic job as Mr. Classy’s new “stand-in” so far.  Tim is married to my cousin, Sarah Smith.

“Mr. Classy” and his “stand-in” were able to wear the grey MK jackets with class on August 16, 2018. As you can see here, you can wear the grey MK jackets with either jeans or shorts.

An “ode” to “Mr. Classy” and his “stand-in”

Since late 2015, I have owned my grey Michael Kors jacket … and, just days after I bought it, I started calling myself “Mr. Classy” every time I would wear the jacket.  I was able to wear the jacket for a couple of hours this morning … and it’s actually too warm for me to wear the jacket this afternoon.  With that in mind, I’d like to write another “ode” for you guys.  This time, it’s about “Mr. Classy” and his “stand-in.”

“Mr. Classy” became somewhat popular in early 2016 … and, two years ago this month, “Mr. Classy” was able to hire a “stand-in” … and his name is Jonathan Reed.

I would just like to say that “Mr. Classy” and his “stand-in” are both able to wear the grey Michael Kors jackets with class.  Whenever “Mr. Classy” is unable to fulfill his duties, his “stand-in” will be able to fulfill Mr. Classy’s duties.

Hopefully, “Mr. Classy” and his “stand-in” will be able to remain classy for at least another year or so.

“‘Mr. Classy’ says, see you all later!”

Joseph’s Top Blog Posts For June 2018

Can you believe it?  The month of June is almost here … and that means that Summer is right around the corner.  It also means that we’re almost halfway through 2018 already.

In this blog post, I’m gonna tell you about a few of the blog posts that I’ll be writing down in June.  One of those blog posts will be my 900th blog post.  I’ll be writing it in the middle of the month.  I won’t tell you what it will be about yet, but I will give you a hint right now.  My 900th blog post will be about one of my classiest friends ever.  It could be about any one of you guys.

Another one of my blog posts will be entitled “Joseph Remembers His Battle With Lyme Disease Two Years Later.”  I will talk about my battle with Lyme disease, which occurred nearly two years ago.  It seems like I just had it yesterday.  Tick season is getting underway, so I’m doing everything I can to stop myself from getting it again.

Another one of my blog posts will be entitled “Joseph Is Not Going To The Cabins This Year!”  In the blog post, I will tell you why I won’t be going to the cabins this year.  The reason may surprise you a little bit.

Another one of my blog posts will be entitled “Joseph’s New Colussy Chevrolet Shirt.”  This year, Colussy Chevrolet, which is located in South Fayette, is turning 100 years old this year … and they will have a classy shirt, which will come out next month.  I may buy one for myself next month.  Of course, if I don’t buy one, then I won’t write this blog post.  I will write a back-up blog post … and I don’t know what it will be about yet.

Another one of my blog posts will be entitled “An ‘ode’ to a classy friend named Michael.”  This blog post will be about one of my friends, whose name is Michael.  I can’t tell you which one it will be yet.

I will also give my features a break in June.  I’ll be giving my computer a break from around 7 p.m. on Friday, June 8th, until around 5 a.m. on Sunday, June 17th, which is Father’s Day.

I hope you will check out at least one of my blog posts in June.  Enjoy your day!

Let’s Talk About A Past Blog Post: We have the exact same birthday!

img_20161223_175030
On the evening of December 23, 2016, I bumped into Ryan Wolf, who is both my friend and my classmate. Believe it or not, we both have the same exact birthday, which is May 1, 1986.

In December of 2016, I wrote a blog post entitled “We have the exact same birthday!”  In it, I talked about me and my friend, Ryan Wolf.  I also said that we both have the exact same birthday, which is May 1, 1986.  I actually bumped into Ryan a few days before I wrote that blog post down … and it sort of inspired me to write the blog post down.  Ryan is both a terrific friend and a terrific classmate.

Here’s a link to the blog post …

Joseph Has Owned His Grey Pens Shirt For Two Years Now!

Two years ago today, I purchased a grey Penguins shirt at Bridgeville T.J. Maxx.  The shirt was only eight dollars … and I was also able to talk one of my friends into buying one there as well.  The friend in question is Chuck Lazzini, who is also known as “Captain Cool.”  Since then, we have been able to wear them with class a few times.  This is actually my favorite Penguins shirt ever.

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

I will continue to wear this Penguins shirt many more times in the future, but I do have a new rule that I will implement, starting today.  I will wear this shirt during hockey season, but I will do my best not to wear it whenever the Penguins are playing their games.  I will wear my other Penguins shirts on game days.
