This blog talks about the things that interest Joseph Pratt the most. It also talks about the events that are going on in Joseph Pratt's life! Also, occasionally, I will talk about some things that happened to me whenever I was younger, I will talk about a past blog post that I liked to write and I will also ask you guys some interesting questions as well.
Today is the First Day of Spring. Spring started at 12:15 this afternoon … and it doesn’t feel like it outside. It also doesn’t look like Spring … yet.
Today, as we begin the Spring season, I’d like to show you a sunset that I saw while I was at my house last week. I actually snapped the photo just moments after I gave my computer a short break.
While this isn’t a proper sunset, per se, it has some of the elements of a rather interesting sunset. I saw a lot of interesting clouds in the sky. The sun actually went down a few minutes after I snapped the photo that will appear below this blog post.
The clouds that are in this photo are either dark or grey. Again, while this sunset may not be a proper one, it certainly has some of the qualities of one.
On March 6, 2018, I was able to take another one of my evening walks around National Hill … and after I finished talking my walk, I was able to snap two photos of the clouds, which were in the skies above both Cuddy and National Hill.
The title of this blog post is entitled “Seeing both big clouds and little clouds.” Well, I’m gonna show you the clouds that I saw on March 6, 2018. First, I’ll show you the big clouds. These clouds were seen in the skies above National Hill.
Now, I’ll show you the small clouds that I saw back on March 6, 2018. These clouds were located in the skies above Cuddy that evening.
You just never know what kinds of clouds you’re gonna see while you’re outdoors. Some of the clouds may surprise you … and who knows? If I snap a photo of another interesting cloud, I may use it in a future blog post.
A few days ago, I started to take my evening walks around National Hill again. I won’t be walking every day at first since the weather will still be cold on some days, but, hopefully, I’ll be able to walk outdoors more often as the weather begins to warm up.
This past Wednesday, while I was taking my evening walk, I happened to see a lot of grey clouds in the skies above National Hill and Cuddy. Earlier in the day, the sun was out for a few hours. The clouds came to the small towns just minutes before I started taking my evening walk.
You might not know this, but I sometimes love to talk about records. No, not the things that feature some of our favorite songs, but the records that are sometimes set by various people or things. Last year at around this time, my blog set two new records in a single week … and, yesterday, it was literally a record-filled day in my neighborhood. Here on National Hill, we set two new weather records in one day … and both of those records were over 100 years old.
We set the first record of the day late yesterday morning. The old record high was 68, which was from 1891, and we easily got up into the 70s before the morning was over.
After we set the first record, I walked to our mailbox … and, after I came back from the mailbox, I snapped a photo of some clouds, which were in the skies above Cuddy. There were grey clouds in the sky … and there were some wavy clouds in the sky as well.
A few hours after we set the first record yesterday, we set another one. At around 4:00 yesterday afternoon, the temperature was 78 … and it would become the warmest February day in our city’s history. It also prompted me to take my first evening walk around National Hill this year. It went very well … and I saw some familiar faces outdoors.
Spring doesn’t officially start for another month or so, but it certainly felt like it yesterday. Enjoy your day, my friends!
At around 11:30 this morning, I was looking out a window at my house … and I happened to see a lot of dark grey clouds in the skies above both National Hill and Cuddy. I also saw a few light grey clouds in the sky as well … and I saw a couple of blue holes in the sky also. The sky was mostly grey at the time.
Also, they are building a new house near Old Oakdale Road … and most of those dark grey clouds were spotted right above the new house.
On October 4, 2017, I took a photo of the skies above Cuddy and National Hill. That evening, I saw every kind of cloud up there. The clouds were dark, grey and white at that time. I also saw some regular clouds up there … and I also saw a wavy cloud or two up there as well. This photo is breathtaking, I think.
On September 27, 2017, I was taking my evening walk around National Hill … and I did see a lot of dark clouds in the sky. I also saw a few “heavenly” clouds in the sky. At least, the clouds looked heavenly to me. I did see some little holes in the grey clouds while I was looking up at the sky. I would assume that the clouds that I saw in the sky back then were heavenly. I’ll let you guys be the judges here. Do these clouds look “heavenly” to you?
On August 30, 2017, I saw lots of clouds in the skies above National Hill and Cuddy. The clouds were white, dark and grey here. I snapped three photos of these clouds that afternoon … and in one of the photos, I saw a cloud that may look like a bunny rabbit. I think it did look like a rabbit. Do you agree with me on that?
Now, next week, I will give my computer a much-needed “break” … and, next week, I’m gonna thank my blog’s followers in a three-part blog post. Enjoy your day, my friends!
Now, yesterday, I told you about the classy jacket that I purchased at T.J. Maxx a few days ago. Well, I actually purchased it on August 18, 2017 … and, just moments after I purchased the jacket, I walked over to the Dollar Tree store for a couple of minutes. While I was sitting outside of the store, I was able to see some nice-looking clouds in the skies above the Great Southern Shopping Center in Bridgeville … and I snapped two photos of those clouds on a Friday afternoon. There were all kinds of clouds in the sky at that time. They were very nice to look at.
