Remembering Joseph’s Old Hewlett-Packard Computer

I have been able to use my new Hewlett-Packard Pavilion computer for the past four days now … and, as I start to get used to this computer, I want to take a moment or two to remember the old Hewlett-Packard computer, which was at my house from July of 2015 until February of 2019.  I have had a lot of memories with this computer … and I’ve written hundreds of my blog posts with that computer.  I have written more than 1,000 blog posts on this blog over the past 4 1/2 years or so, so, while I have owned my computer for more than 3 1/2 of those years, let’s just say that I have written more than half of the blog posts that I have been able to write down on my blog.

During the second half of 2015, I took these pictures … and I tried to include the computer in my photos.

As you can see by the many pictures that I have of my old H.P. computer, I will surely miss this computer a lot, but I will remember it for a long time.

Joseph Will Soon Have A New Hewlett-Packard Computer!

After more than 3 1/2 years, I will soon be getting a new Hewlett-Packard computer … and, on February 7, 2019, I chose the computer that will be replacing the computer that I have now.  The computer is also from Hewlett-Packard … and I will be able to put that computer to use at some point next week.  I chose the computer at Best Buy in North Fayette that afternoon … and, ironically, I purchased my current Hewlett-Packard computer there in the summer of 2015.  I think I will like my new computer a lot … and I hope you guys will like it as well.

Watching “The Lucy Show” on DVD

I started using my computer again over the weekend … and, this past week, I gave my computer a break for just over a week.  While I was doing that, I was able to watch the fourth and fifth seasons of “The Lucy Show” on DVD.  I had never seen most of the show’s episodes from season 4 before, so it was a blast for me to see episodes of the show from that season.  I really enjoyed them.  I have seen episodes from the show’s fifth season many times.  I would watch them on various “Lucy Show” DVDs and I once watched it on the now-defunct WBGN, which was an independent station in Pittsburgh.  When I saw episodes from the show’s fifth season on DVD this past week, I was amazed as to how “clear” the episodes were.  Before that, whenever I would watch the show on my other DVDs, the pictures were sometimes a little bit fuzzy.  I like this show a lot … and, if it’s on TV again, I may watch it in the future.

Is it time to replace my computer already?

In July of 2015, I bought my black Hewlett-Packard computer at Best Buy.  It replaced the white eMachines computer, which was at my house for six years.  Sadly, my Hewlett-Packard computer is starting to fall apart in some ways.  In just a matter of days, I will have to say good-bye to my black Hewlett-Packard computer.  I will buy a new computer soon … and I will try to buy a computer that’s very similar to this Hewlett-Packard computer.

Joseph’s New LG Television Set

Yesterday afternoon, my “computer room” got a little makeover of sorts.  At around 2:15 yesterday afternoon, I got a new TV set from LG … and, just minutes later, I started putting it to use.  Boy, do I like this set a lot!  It talks whenever you use the TV’s features … and I’m also able to use the “sleep timer” feature, which is on the TV.  You can use it for up to 240 minutes, or 4 hours.  Every minute, it tells you how many more minutes the TV will remain on for.  I love this TV … and I plan to use it a lot in the future.

On August 8, 2018, I received a new TV set from LG … and I put it to use almost immediately. I really like it … and I will be using it many times in the future. It talks whenever you use its features … and, whenever you use its sleep timer feature, it will tell you how many minutes the TV will remain on for each and every minute.

I have owned my H.P. computer for three years!

Three years ago, on July 26, 2015, I started using my black Hewlett-Packard computer for the first time.  I really like the computer a lot … and I use it nearly everyday.  I hope you guys like it as much as I do.

Joseph’s Top Blog Posts For July 2018

We are almost halfway through 2018 … and, in less than two months, my blog will start its fifth year.  Today, I’m going to tell you about some of the blog posts that I’ll be writing down in July.  One of my blog posts will be my 925th blog post.  It will be about a very exciting thing.

Another one of my blog posts will be entitled “I have owned by H.P. computer for three years!”  I will talk about my black Hewlett-Packard computer, which I have owned for three years.  It still works very well today.  In fact, since July of 2015, I have been writing my blog posts on my Hewlett-Packard computer.  Before that, from August of 2014 until July of 2015, I wrote my blog posts on my old white eMachines computer.

I will be honoring two of my relatives in two of my blog posts in July.  One of those blog posts will be entitled “Guess who’s turning 60 today?”  One of my relatives will turn 60 on July 14th … and I’ll talk about the event in a blog post then.  Another one of my blog posts will be entitled “One of my aunts is 75 today!”  On July 26th, one of my aunts will turn 75 … and, on that day, I will talk about the event in a blog post.

Another one of my blog posts will be entitled “Our new bathroom is one year old!”  Our new bathroom was being remodeled last Summer at around this time … and it was completed in early July.  I will talk about the event in a blog post in July.  It seems like we just remodeled it yesterday.

I will also use my features in July.  Let me tell you how I’ll be using them this time.

Joseph Watches PCNC During The Day

In recent years, I have been able to watch PCNC on my TVs at home on a daily basis.  At my house, it’s on channel 35.  PCNC stands for Pittsburgh Cable News Channel.  I usually just watch it on weekdays, but, sometimes, I’ll watch it on weekends.  I generally watch that channel in my “computer room” while I use my computer.  I’ll also watch it for short amounts of time in my dining room … and, on a few occasions, I’ll watch it for a few minutes in my living room as well.

Now, two years ago, I also made a brief appearance on PCNC while they were talking about The Home and Garden Show.  I appeared on the station for a few seconds or so.

If you guys need something to watch at various points during the day, you should watch PCNC.  It’s a fantastic channel … and it might make your day go by just a little bit faster.  That’s certainly true in my case.

Joseph’s new speakers

IMG_20171105_043254
On November 3, 2017, Joseph bought some new Logitech speakers for his computer. They look like the ones that he has owned for two years.

On Friday, I wrote a blog post entitled “My computer’s speakers got an upgrade!”  In it, I talked about the speakers that I purchased on Friday afternoon.  They also look like the ones that I had owned for over two years.  I also said that I would snap a photo of those speakers … and I did just that earlier today.  You can see that photo, which is located above this blog post.  I really like these speakers!
