Celebrating Five Years Of Friendship With DJ Joe

In September of 2013, I went to Bee’z Bistro and Pub with my aunt and my uncle … and, while I was there, I walked into the bar and I happened to talk to DJ Joe for the first time.  His real name is Joe Cohen.  A few days later, I became an official fan of his work … and I would also become one of his Facebook friends.  We officially became friends on Facebook five years ago today … and, just days later, we became real-life friends as well.  I keep in touch with him in many different ways whenever I have the time to do so.

Over the past five years, I have bumped into DJ Joe at Bee’z several times … and I have snapped several selfies with him.  In the selfies, we would wear button-down shirts, leather jackets, Nirvana shirts and even the grey Michael Kors jackets.  In May, we wore our Macho Man shirts to Bee’z … and we wore our shirts in some selfies that same evening.  The purple Macho Man shirts are now the “de facto” shirts of our friendship.

Keep being classy, DJ Joe!  You are, indeed, a “macho” friend.  Thank you for being one of my friends for the past five years.

Next time, I will write my 975th blog post down … and I will make an announcement in that blog posts.  Parts of it will be good and parts of it will be bad.

In honor of my blog’s fifth year, I’d like to show you five blog posts that I wrote down on or around October 10th in previous years …

Celebrating My Blog’s Fourth Year: Supporting My Blog On Social Media

Over the past four years, thousands of people have supported my blog in one form or another on Social Media.  At this time, I have no plans to share my posts to my followers on LinkedIn, but I may consider doing that at some point during my blog’s fifth year.  I still share my posts to my followers on Facebook, Twitter and Google Plus.

Next time, I will talk about liking my blog posts.

Joseph Is Celebrating His 2,500th Day on Facebook Today!

Now, as you probably know, a lot of TV programs like to celebrate certain milestones.  Of course, it’s not every day that you hear someone celebrate an event that I’m about to bring up in today’s blog post.  I have now been on Facebook for 2,500 days.  I first became a Facebook friend on July 18, 2011 … and two of my Facebook friends have been my friends on Facebook from the very beginning.  Those people are Frank Nicotero, who is a comedian, and Andrew Taglianetti, who used to be a Pitt Football player.  Since then, I have had nearly 550 friends on Facebook.  Of course, I’ve actually had more than 550 friends on Facebook for nearly seven years, but, of course, a few of those people have come and gone over the past 2,500 days or so.  Hopefully, I’ll have more fun on Facebook over the next 2,500 days or so.

I am celebrating two milestones on Facebook today!

Today, I am celebrating two important milestones on Facebook.

July 18, 2011, is a date that will be in my mind for a long time.  It was the day that I became a Facebook user for the first time.  Since then, I have made more than 500 friends on Facebook … and two of those people have been my friends on Facebook since the day that I joined Facebook six years ago.

Also, one year ago today, I started using Facebook Live on a semi-regular basis.  I will use it twice a month or so.  In some of those videos, I will tell you guys about the posts that you will be seeing on this blog in any given month … and, in some other videos, I will just talk to you guys in the videos for a short amount of time.  I began to use Facebook Live on July 18, 2016 … and, on that day, I had celebrated my fifth anniversary on Facebook.  I have used it several times since then … and I will be using it again later today.

I started using Facebook six years ago today.
I started using Facebook Live one year ago today.

I now have 500 friends on Facebook!

I celebrated another milestone yesterday afternoon.  I reached the 500-friends mark on Facebook for the first time ever.  It took me nearly six years to reach this mark willingly.  I actually have more than 500 friends on Messenger at this time … and most of them are already my Facebook friends.

I became a Facebook friend myself back on July 18, 2011 … and a Pitt football player named Andrew Taglianetti became my first Facebook friend ever.  I won’t tell you the person who got me to the 500-friend mark yesterday, but I can tell you that this person is a very classy person.

On May 30, 2017, I reached the 500-friends mark on Facebook for the first time.

Joseph is making live videos!

Now, back on July 18th, I celebrated my fifth anniversary as a Facebook user … and in honor of that special occasion, I made my first live Facebook video ever.  It was well-received by my friends … and they really liked the live video that I made for them.  Since then, I have made three more live videos on Facebook … and hopefully I’ll be able to make more of them in the future.

Now, I probably won’t be making them very frequently at first because I want to go outside and enjoy the nice, warm weather that we’re having now, but once the weather gets colder and once the days begin to get shorter, I may make live videos on Facebook a little bit more often.  We’ll just have to see what happens!

I have been on Facebook for 5 years now!

On July 18, 2011, I became a Facebook user for the first time ever.  Before that, I was on MySpace … and, yes, I had several MySpace friends.  While I liked MySpace a lot, I wanted to join Facebook someday.  Well, back in the Summer of 2011, I did just that.  I started a Facebook account.  Now, in order to do that, I had to cancel my MySpace account before I could start my Facebook account.

Since then, I have had over 450 Facebook friends.  Some of them have come and gone over the years, but most of them have been my friends for at least a day or so … and only a couple of them have been my Facebook friends since the day I became a Facebook user five years ago today.  For safety reasons, I won’t tell you who those friends are, but let’s just say that these people have been my friends in one form or another for a long time.

Joseph’s Road To His 30th Birthday: Joseph’s 26th Year On Earth

Back in July of 2011, I became a Facebook user for the very first time.  Before that, I had been a MySpace user.  In order for me to become a regular Facebook user, I had to cancel my MySpace account.  As a matter of fact, this July, I will be celebrating my 5th anniversary as a Facebook user.  As of this blog post, I have over 400 Facebook friends and I have over 30 followers on Facebook.  I use Facebook almost every day … and I talk to my friends and my relatives on it whenever I can.  I plan on using it many times in the future.

Enjoy your Easter!
