Joseph Has Owned His Grey Pens Shirt For Two Years Now!

Two years ago today, I purchased a grey Penguins shirt at Bridgeville T.J. Maxx.  The shirt was only eight dollars … and I was also able to talk one of my friends into buying one there as well.  The friend in question is Chuck Lazzini, who is also known as “Captain Cool.”  Since then, we have been able to wear them with class a few times.  This is actually my favorite Penguins shirt ever.

I will continue to wear this Penguins shirt many more times in the future, but I do have a new rule that I will implement, starting today.  I will wear this shirt during hockey season, but I will do my best not to wear it whenever the Penguins are playing their games.  I will wear my other Penguins shirts on game days.

Joseph Turns 32 Today!

32 years ago today, at around 6:33 in the morning, a classy gentleman named Joseph Pratt was born at UPMC Mercy Hospital, which is located in Uptown Pittsburgh.  Since then, he has become the classy gentleman that he is today.

I would also like to wish one of my friends a happy 32nd birthday today … and his name is Ryan Wolf.  I talked about us having the same birthday in a blog post back in December of 2016.  I’ll talk about that blog post in one of my blog’s features later this month.

On the evening of December 23, 2016, I bumped into Ryan Wolf, who is both my friend and my classmate. Believe it or not, we both have the same exact birthday, which is May 1, 1986.

Happy 30th Birthday, Sarah!

30 years ago today, I became a first-time cousin whenever Sarah Smith was born.  Since then, she has become one of the classiest cousins and friends that I have ever known.  Today, I would like to wish her a happy 30th birthday.  Happy 30th birthday, Sarah!

Back in the 2000s, Joseph and his cousin, Sarah Smith, were in Cecil Park for a few hours. They have been cousins and friends for 30 years now!

I bumped into two people at Kohl’s recently!

Over the years, I have been able to bump into some very interesting people whenever I would go to various places in the Pittsburgh area … and, last Wednesday, I was able to bump into two people while I was at Kohl’s.  At around 10:00 a.m. on April 18th, I went to the Kohl’s store in Robinson Township … and, while I was there, I bumped into two people.  Those people are Sharon Hohn and Charlene Josey.  I did snap selfies whenever I bumped into these people … and those photos will appear below this blog post.  I guess you could say I got “two for the price of one” that day.  (No pun intended.)

You just never know who you will bump into whenever you go somewhere!

An “ode” to a classy person named Jay

For about 3 1/4 years or so, I have been able to talk about some of my classiest friends ever in my blog posts … and, today, I’m going to talk about another one of the classiest friends that I have ever known.  This person’s name is Jay Papuga.

I have been friends with him for about two years now.  I’ve only bumped into him twice in the past two years … and, hopefully, I can do it again soon.  I first bumped into him in my own home whenever he was showing us the services that his company has to offer … and then I bumped into him at a festival in Scott Township.  Jay is one of the classiest people that I have ever known.

Joseph may eat one of Bubba’s “Burghers” on his birthday this year!

Last week, I told you guys the name of the restaurant that I would be going to on my 32nd birthday, which will be on May 1st.  The name of the restaurant is … Bubba’s Gourmet Burghers And Beer, which is located in South Fayette.  I have gone there with my relatives back in August of 2014, just days after I started this blog.  This is not the first time that I have eaten here.  It will be the second time that I will be able to eat at this restaurant.  Who knows?  I may get one of Bubba’s “Burghers” while I’m there, but I’m not sure yet.  I may get something interesting while I’m there.  The restaurant is named after a local disc jockey named Bubba Snider, who does a show on Star 100.7 here in Pittsburgh.

Joseph’s Top Blog Posts For April 2018

Can you believe it?  The month of April is here … and, in just a few short weeks, I will turn 32.  Well, today, I’m gonna tell you about the blog posts that I’ll be writing down in April.

One of my blog posts will be entitled “Happy 30th Birthday, Sarah!”  On April 26th, my cousin, Sarah Smith, will turn 30 years old … and I will talk about the event in a blog post then.

A few days ago, I wrote a blog post entitled “‘Mr. Classy’ Goes To Pittsburgh” … and, in it, I talked about Mr. Classy’s first trip to Pittsburgh.  Well, on April 4th, he will take another trip to Pittsburgh … and, at some point in April, I will write a blog post entitled “‘Mr. Classy’ Goes To Pittsburgh Again!”  It will be about Mr. Classy’s second trip to the Steel City.

Another one of my blog posts will be entitled “An ‘ode’ to a classy person named Jay.”  It’s about a friend of mine, whose first name is Jay.  I won’t tell you who it is yet, but I will do it in a blog post at some point this month.

I will also write my 850th blog post in April … and, in it, I will make an announcement about the future of my blog.

I will also use my features in four of my blog posts this month.  Let me tell you how I will be using them this time around.

An “ode” to a terrific friend named Zach

Back in September of 2017, I wrote a blog post entitled “An ‘ode’ to ‘Captain Cool'” … and, in it, I talked about my friend “Captain Cool,” whose real name is Chuck Lazzini, one of my blog’s followers.

Well, today, I’ve decided to write another “ode” in a blog post.  This time, it’s about a friend of mine named Zach Teagarden.  We became friends on the evening of March 17, 2017 … and we were both at Victor Papakie’s funeral that evening.

On some occasions, I was able to speak to him in one of the rooms at the funeral home for a few minutes at a time.  Since then, Zach has become one of the classiest friends that I have ever known.  I haven’t bumped into him since then, but, hopefully, I can do that soon.

Keep being classy, Zach!

Joseph likes Route 837!

Today, I’m writing blog post number 837 on my blog … and, today, the blog post will be about one of the Pittsburgh area’s best roadways … and that would be Route 837.  I have ridden on this roadway many times over the years.  I have never ridden on the entire length of Route 837 before in my life, but, of course, I have ridden on parts of the roadway over the course of my life.  I haven’t done that recently, but I have done it many times in my short life.  I have also ridden on that roadway whenever I went to Kennywood Park with my friends and my relatives.  I really like Route 837 a lot … and I will be riding on it again in the future.  Who knows?  Maybe you guys will see me riding on it someday.
