Revisiting Joseph’s 700th Blog Post

During the second half of my blog’s fifth year, I will give you some chances to revisit some of my past blog posts. Today, I am going to let you revisit my 700th blog post, which is the last blog post from my blog’s third year.

In August of 2017, I went to Maestro’s Barber Shop and I was able to wear my Maestro’s Barber Shop T-shirt to that place. Me and most of the other barbers were able to wear the shirts in a photo that I took just before I left the barber shop back on August 2, 2017. I wrote a blog post about it nearly two weeks later and it ended up becoming my 700th blog post. As I stated in a previous blog post not too long ago, I’m currently not going to Maestro’s Barber Shop as a customer, but there is a possibility that I may return there as a customer again in the near future. These barbers are some of the best ones in the Pittsburgh area.

I would like to thank Tony Talotta and the other barbers at Maestro’s Barber Shop, which is located in Bridgeville, for allowing me to have a Maestro’s Barber Shop T-shirt. I would like to apologize for not being able to visit that barber shop for a while. I wanted to try something different. I will do my best to return to that barber shop at some point this year.

This is not my 700th blog post.  This is my 1,131st blog post.  I’m just letting you revisit my 700th blog post.

In honor of my blog’s fifth year, I’d like to show you five blog posts that I wrote down on or around May 29th in previous years …

Joseph Pratt's Interests And Some Other Things

My blog reached another milestone today.  I’m gonna write down my 700th blog post today.

My 700th blog post is gonna be about some of the coolest and classiest people that I have ever known.  These people all work at a place called Maestro’s Barber Shop in Bridgeville.  I actually went to school with one of those barbers … and I also knew some of these barbers whenever they were working at the Great Southern Barber Shop in Collier Township.  I was able to appear in a photo with four of those barbers recently … and most of us were able to wear our Maestro’s Barbershop shirts at the barber shop a few days ago.

Joseph Will Soon Have A New Hewlett-Packard Computer!

After more than 3 1/2 years, I will soon be getting a new Hewlett-Packard computer … and, on February 7, 2019, I chose the computer that will be replacing the computer that I have now.  The computer is also from Hewlett-Packard … and I will be able to put that computer to use at some point next week.  I chose the computer at Best Buy in North Fayette that afternoon … and, ironically, I purchased my current Hewlett-Packard computer there in the summer of 2015.  I think I will like my new computer a lot … and I hope you guys will like it as well.

Joseph Is Switching Barber Shops In 2019

Yesterday morning, at around 10:00 or so, I got a haircut at Fella’s Barbershop, which is located in McDonald.  I went there back in December … and I really liked the place a lot.

On February 7, 2019, I went to Fella’s Barbershop in McDonald for the second time ever. I previously went there in December. I snapped this selfie just moments before Hunter Dorazio, who is one of the place’s barbers, gave me my haircut.

Now, Hunter Dorazio, who is one of the barbers at Fella’s Barber Shop, gave me my haircut again … and he did a fantastic job in giving me my haircut yesterday.  After I left the place, I gave it a lot of thought … and I’ve decided that I will be going to this place on a regular basis.  I will be going there again in just a few short weeks.

On February 7, 2019, I got my haircut at Fella’s Barber Shop in McDonald. I like it … and I hope you guys like it also.  I will be going to Fella’s Barber Shop on a regular basis in the future.

Over the years, I have gotten my haircuts at various places, including Fantastic Sams, Holiday Hair, The Great Southern Barber Shop, SportClips, the old JCPenney Salon in Bridgeville, BoRics Hair Salon in Scott Township, Great Clips and Maestro’s Barber Shop.  Now I will be getting my haircuts at Fella’s Barber Shop in the future.  Please don’t say anything negative about my decision.  It was a choice I made myself.

In honor of my blog’s fifth year, I’d like to show you five blog posts that I wrote down on or around February 8th in previous years …

My walking schedule will change in 2019!

As you know, I am no longer taking my evening walks around National Hill.  I was able to walk around the neighborhood on Sunday afternoon since it was warm and sunny outside.  I know it’s early December, but I just had to do that.  Well, anyway, I will be walking around National Hill several times in 2019 … and I will be changing my walking schedule considerably, so that I do not disturb my friends and neighbors too much.

Here’s my walking schedule for 2019 …

Weekdays: Walk anytime between 9:00 in the morning and 12:30 in the afternoon
Weekends: Walk anytime between 7:30 in the morning and 5:00 in the afternoon

I hope you like this new schedule.  I have some terrific friends and neighbors on National Hill … and I’d like to keep it that way for a long time.

In honor of my blog’s fifth year, I’d like to show you five blog posts that I wrote down on or around December 4th in previous years …

Blog Post Number 975

Today, I’m writing my 975th blog post for you guys … and I will be making a special announcement.  Some parts of it are good and some parts of it are bad.  I apologize in advance if I get a little bit emotional while I type this blog post.

As you probably know, I have not been taking a lot of my evening walks around National Hill this year.  I’ve been cutting back on them for personal reasons … and, in just a matter of days, I will stop doing that forever.  I won’t stop walking around National Hill completely, though.  I will start walking at other times during the day.  I will probably walk in the late morning hours instead of the late afternoon hours.  This way, I won’t have to disturb too many people while I walk around National Hill.  I do have fantastic neighbors and friends, though.

Thank you all for your understanding.

In tomorrow’s blog post, I will ask you guys a question about my 1,000th blog post, which will be written by me in just a few short weeks.

In honor of my blog’s fifth year, I’d like to show you five blog posts that I wrote down on or around October 11th in previous years …

I upgraded two of my things recently!

Recently, I was able to give two of my favorite items an upgrade.  Those items are my black laceless loafers from Dockers … and this blog.

First, I’d like to tell you about my new black laceless loafers from Dockers.  I purchased them at Kohl’s a few weeks ago.  I believe I may have gotten them for Christmas … and I have never been able to wear them willingly … until this week.

On April 2, 2018, I started to wear my new black laceless loafers from Dockers. I really like these shoes a lot.

Now, I’d like to tell you about my blog itself, which got a much-needed upgrade yesterday evening.  I have had this blog for almost four years now … and, since I will be celebrating my blog’s fifth year in a few short months, I figured that I should upgrade my blog now.  I actually showed you a preview of my new upgraded blog in my 850th blog post, which was written by me earlier this week.

Joseph’s blog, which is called “Joseph Pratt’s Interests And Some Other Things,” will get a little makeover soon. It will be clear and easy to read.

I hope you guys like these upgrades as much as I do.  I just felt like upgrading these two items, that’s all.

Joseph’s 850th Blog Post

Today, I’m writing my 850th blog post … and, today, I would like to talk about the future of my blog.  Now, I’m not saying good-bye to my blog just yet.  I’m just gonna give it a little makeover.  In just a few days, I will give it a little makeover.  The blog will be clear … and it will be easier to read.  I hope you guys will like the new version of my blog as much as I do.

I did a complete 180 just by changing the way that I see things

Since I left high school for the last time ever as a student nearly 8 years ago, my life has slowly improved somewhat. I still go there once or twice a year to attend various events, such as the Mardi Gras, which I will be going to later this week. I will actually talk about that in one of my blogs later this week. In today’s blog, I’m going to talk about doing a complete 180 just by changing the way that I see and do things on a daily basis. I have also matured somewhat in the last 8 years. When I was in high school, I wasn’t as polite as I am now. Sure, I was polite back then, but I wasn’t very polite then. I would say “please” and “thank you” on a few occasions whenever I was in school, but now I say them almost all of the time whenever I’m going to public places. Whenever I was in high school, I didn’t watch certain programs on TV, like reality shows, but now I watch some reality shows every week. Those are just a few changes that I’ve made to my lifestyle since I left high school back in 2007. Will I be able to make more changes to my lifestyle? Yes, but it will take some time for me to make those changes.
