I have owned my DBZ T-shirt for one year!

For just over one year now, I have owned my “Dragon Ball Z” T-shirt.  I really like this shirt a lot … and I have worn it several times over the past year.  I got it last year for my 33rd birthday.  My neighbor and friend, Michael Spicer, got it for me for my 33rd birthday last year … and I would like to thank him for getting me a classy shirt in 2019.  This is one of the best shirts I have ever owned.

I hope you guys like this Dragon Ball Z T-shirt as much as I do.  I will continue to wear it many more times in the future.  Thank you, Michael Spicer, for allowing me to have a fantastic T-shirt like this Dragon Ball Z T-shirt.

Joseph’s Top Blog Posts For May 2020

Can you believe it?  The month of May is almost here … and, during the month of April, lots of people, including myself, have had to stay home a lot.  I do still walk to my mailbox whenever I have to, but that’s pretty much it.  I have been able to write some neat blog posts on my home computer while we all have had to stay at home during the Coronavirus Outbreak.  I will give you guys some more blog posts in May … and my features will be taking a well-deserved break in May.

One of my blog posts will be entitled “I have owned my DBZ T-shirt for one year!”  I will talk about my DBZ T-shirt in a blog post in May.  I would like to thank my neighbor and friend, Michael Spicer, for getting me the DBZ T-shirt for my 33rd birthday last year.

Another one of my blog posts will be entitled “Joseph Has Owned His Grey Penguins Shirt For Four Years Now!”  I will talk about my grey Penguins T-shirt in a blog post in May.  Me and my friend, Chuck Lazzini, who occasionally follows this blog, have both owned that shirt for almost four years now.

Another one of my blog posts will be entitled “Guess who is 34 today?”  In the blog post, I will wish myself a happy 34th birthday.  I plan on writing that blog post at around 7:00 on Friday morning.

Another one of my blog posts will be entitled “I have had a classy ensemble for one year now!”  I will talk about some of my classy outfits in a blog post in May … and they are the purple crew neck T-shirt from Arizona, my dark wash jeans from Chaps, my grey polo shirt from Chaps and my grey half-zip pullover from Nike.

Another one of my blog posts will be entitled “Cheyenne is 25 years old today!”  I will wish my cousin, Cheyenne Papakie, a happy 25th birthday in the blog post.

Another one of my blog posts will be entitled “Blog Post Number 1,375 Is About A Classy Sweater!”  I can’t tell you which sweater I’ll be talking about just yet, but I can assure you … the sweater will be a classy one.

Another one of my blog posts will be entitled “Did I get any presents for my 34th birthday?”  Now, I probably won’t get too many presents this year because of the COVID-19 Outbreak, but I know I will get at least one birthday present this year.  I will show you the presents, if I have more than one of them, in a blog post in May.

Another one of my blog posts will be entitled “8,000 Views And Counting.”  My blog will hit the 8,000-views mark in May … and I will talk about the event in a blog post whenever it does occur.

I will give my features a break in May … and, of course, I will give you some fantastic blog posts in May.  Some of them may catch your eye.  Stay safe and enjoy your day, my friends!

Joseph’s Flashback: Our house was partially empty for years before we bought it!

Since 1971, my grandparents, my three uncles, my mother Susan Pratt, who is one of my blog’s followers, and myself have lived in a one-story white house on National Hill.  For safety reasons, I will not reveal the house’s exact location.  For the past 49 years now, all seven of us have lived in that house at one time or another.  My uncles all lived in that house until around the mid 1980s … and, then, my mother would stay in the white house until around the year 2000 or so.  For most of my 34-year life, I have called that white house my home.  Of course, my grandparents have been in that house for 49 years.  Most of the rooms in our houses are in the same locations to this day, but two of those rooms are somewhat different.  My bedroom is my mother’s old bedroom from the time that she was a young girl … and my three uncles all slept in the room that is now my “computer room.”  My mother called that room hers while she lived there as a young adult.  You may say that my “computer room” is an “extension” of my bedroom.

Well, today, I’m going to tell you about our house’s earliest years, before we moved into it.  Our house was completely built at some point in the 1950s, but it was not completely occupied for a number of years.  The house was originally built by John Danesky, who passed away in 2003.  John was the brother of my aunt, Pauline Danesky … and they lived next door to us for many years.  The house was originally built for John and Pauline’s mother, Mary Danesky, but she turned it down.  For a number of years, several members of the Danesky family were living in what is now our basement … and the main floor of our house was still empty!  In fact, until we came along in 1971, there was nothing on the main floor of our house … and there was no staircase, which would eventually go from our basement’s door to our front porch.  You can see proof of that in the four photos of our house, which are from the mid 1950s.  I would also like to thank members of the Danesky family for snapping those photos more than 60 years ago.

As you can see here, it’s always nice to learn about some neat things about the history of one’s house, especially when it’s your own house.  You just never know what kinds of stories you may hear about your own home.  Our house was built in the 1950s … and it has changed somewhat considerably for more than 60 years … and, in 1971, my relatives came here and the rest is history.

I hope you guys enjoyed hearing the story of our house’s earliest days.  I have done this in the “Joseph’s Flashback” feature two times in the past … and, today, I wanted to go a little bit more in depth about our house’s earliest days.  I really like this house a lot!

Tomorrow, I will write my 1,350th blog post down … and it will be about a jacket.  You’ll have to wait until tomorrow to find out which jacket I’ll be talking about.

Walking On The Weekend

Now, over the weekend, we had some fantastic weather here on National Hill … and today’s weather is fantastic as well.  Now, it was cold on Saturday morning … and then it warmed up just a little bit on Saturday afternoon.  Now, I was able to take two walks on Saturday afternoon.  I took the first one at around 2:30 … and, almost two hours later, I took my second walk that day.  I was able to finish my walks before 5:00 since I will not be walking outdoors after 5:00 p.m. on weekends anymore.

Now, yesterday, the weather was nice once again.  It was a chilly morning … and it was a very warm afternoon.  Now, again, I took my first walk of the afternoon at around 2:30 … and, almost two hours later, I took my second walk of the afternoon.  Again, I was able to finish my walks before 5:00 yesterday afternoon.

Now, when it comes to me walking on the weekends, I will have more leeway since I will have a little bit more free time than I have on weekdays.  I will be able to walk outdoors at various times between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on weekends … and, on weekdays, I will try to walk at different times between 8:15 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.  Now, that the days are getting longer and the weather is getting warmer, it will be hard for me to stay indoors past my cut-off times, but I will do my very best to do just that.  This way, everybody can relax better in the late afternoon and early evening hours.

This is Joseph’s Walking Schedule For 2020!

I have now figured out my walking schedule for 2020.  I am no longer taking my evening walks around National Hill.  Now, on weekdays, I will try to walk at various times between 8:15 in the morning and 2:30 in the afternoon.  Now, after 2:30, I will be inside of my home … and I will spend most of that time in my “computer room.”  I will be giving myself some “me time” during the 6:00 hour on weekday evenings.  Later this month, I will ask you guys what I should do in my “computer room” at 6:00 on weekday evenings, since I am not taking my evening walks anymore.

Now, on weekends, I will try to walk at different times between 8:00 in the morning and 5:00 in the afternoon.

Now, I will not be walking every day.  Sometimes, the weather might be bad … or I may just be too busy to walk outdoors in the first place.  If I am unable to walk outdoors on any given day, you will know why.

Of course, I will continue to walk to my mailbox on the days that we get mail.  I am not giving up my walks completely.  I’m just walking at different times of the day, that’s all.

Please enjoy the rest of your day, my friends!

Joseph is still “super” three years later!

Three years ago today, I got my grey Superman T-shirt … and I’ve worn it many times over the past three years.  I usually wear it with blue jeans and nice shorts, but I may have worn it with dress pants and white jeans as well.  No matter how I wear it, I always wear it with class.  I may wear it with sweatpants or gym shorts in the future.

Me, and my neighbor, Michael Spicer, have worn our grey Superman shirts many times over the past three years.

Thomas Papakie, who is one of my uncles, was able to wear the grey Superman T-shirt with me back in December of 2018.  We both wore them with class back then.

On December 22, 2018, me and Thomas Papakie wore the grey Superman shirts with class. In this case, he’s a “super” uncle.

I still like my grey Superman shirt a lot … and I hope you guys do also.

Joseph’s 1,200th Blog Post Is Full Of Swag!

Today, as I begin to use my computer again for the first time in several days, I have reached another milestone on this blog.  I am writing my 1,200th blog post on this blog … and it will be about a classy person.  His name is Jook Greer, who is one of my neighbors on National Hill.

Jook is one of the classiest people that I have ever known … and, back in April, we were able to wear both the white 2017 Stanley Cup Champions T-shirts and the grey and black Puma jackets with class … and swag.  Well, actually, we just wore our shirts with class, but we did wear the jackets with both class and swag.

On April 8, 2019, Jook Greer and I posted for this selfie outdoors on National Hill. On that day, we wore our white 2017 Stanley Cup Champions shirts with class … and we wore our grey and black Puma jackets with both class and swag.

As you can see, Jook is both a classy neighbor and a swaggy friend.  He is also the subject of my 1,200th blog post.
