It’s another breathtaking sunset!

Spring is just six days away … and the days are starting to get a little bit longer.  It started to get dark after 7:00 in the evening again this past Sunday … and that means that the sun will be setting after I shut off my computer for the night.  I usually go to bed at different times between 8:20 and 9:00 at night … and it won’t be long before the sun will be able to set during those times.  I may be able to snap a photo of a terrific sunset before I go to sleep, if I see a good one.

The sunset that I’m going to show you today is from Sunday and I snapped it at around 7:30 on Sunday evening.  The sky is mostly grey … and the clouds are dark grey.  The sky, which is in the middle of the photo, is mainly orange.

On March 10, 2019, I snapped a photo of a terrific sunset, which is seen in the skies above Cuddy. The sky is mostly grey … and the clouds are grey also. The sky in the middle of the photo is mainly orange.

In honor of my blog’s fifth year, I’d like to show you five blog posts that I wrote down on or around March 14th in previous years …

Are these orange clouds breaking up?

We are already beginning the month of August … and, today, I would like to talk about the orange clouds that I saw before I went to bed one night.  Before I went to sleep, I was looking outside of my bedroom window … and I happened to see a lot of orange clouds in the sky.  They looked like they were breaking up … and, as you might have guessed, I was able to snap a photo of those clouds just minutes before I went to bed.  I’d like to show you that photo now.

On July 25, 2018, before I went to sleep, I snapped a photo of these orange clouds, which may have been breaking up just minutes before the sun went down.

This weekend, I will be visiting my “undisclosed location” … and, at some point this weekend, I will be writing a personal blog post for you guys.  It will tell you guys why I have not been able to go to certain events this year.

Remembering my trip to McSummerfest one year later

Now, earlier this week, I was able to go to McSummerfest for just a few minutes.  I wasn’t able to stay there for a long period of time this year.  It was actually raining for a few minutes before I went to the event on Monday evening … and I also don’t like to stay out very late at night, unless I absolutely have to do so.

So, today, I would like to show you the photos that I took at McSummerfest last year, since I didn’t take any photos at the event this year.

It seems like I just went to the event yesterday.  That year went by very quickly.  I was able to see a few familiar faces while I went to McSummerfest earlier this week … and, as you can see here, I bumped into at least four familiar faces while I was at the event one year ago.

Does this sunset look like cotton candy?

Last night, before I went to bed, I snapped a photo of a fantastic sunset, which was spotted above the skies of Cuddy.  This morning, I posted a photo of that sunset onto my social media sites.  I was looking at the photo on my Facebook page this afternoon … and, in the comments section, someone said that the sunset may have looked like cotton candy.  I may actually agree with the person who said that.

The clouds here are grey, dark grey, red, pink, purple and orange.

Joseph’s Top Blog Posts About Sunsets

Today, I’m gonna show you my top blog posts, which are about sunsets.  As you know, I’m preparing to take my last evening walk of the year later this afternoon … and I’m gonna have to start watching the sunsets from my computer room … and the sun will probably set at around 5 or 5:30 on most evenings for the next few evenings or so.

I saw my friends and a sunset at Oakdale’s parade this year! (July 31, 2016)
I see pink clouds and some more bare trees in this sunset! (November 12, 2015)
Another bright sunset (July 29, 2016)
A colorful sunset (October 5, 2015)
First part of “Two sunsets in two nights” (July 23, 2015)
This sunset is full of some unique-looking clouds! (June 25, 2015)
A Scary Sunset … And A Calm Sunrise (August 4, 2015)

I wrote 29 blog posts about sunsets … and seven of them have been seen by various people at least once.

I hope you were able to enjoy some of my top blog posts, which are about clouds, sunrises and sunsets.  I will be able to see them indoors a lot more times, now that the days are getting shorter.

Another breathtaking sunset

On October 11, 2016, I saw another breathtaking sunset here in Cuddy. The skies here were purple, orange and pink. It looks fantastic, in my opinion.

Last evening, we had another breathtaking sunset here in Cuddy.  The skies were pink, purple and orange … and the clouds were also orange, pink and purple.  It was one of the best sunsets that I have seen in a long time.

The things that you see in the sky can sometimes amaze you!

On September 26, 2016, I saw some rather interesting things in the sky.

First, at around 5:00 that afternoon, I saw a grey cloud that looked like a horse’s head … and it was inside some very dark clouds.

On September 26, 2016, I saw a grey cloud that almost looked like a horse’s head. It was inside some darker grey clouds.

Then, at around 7:00 that evening, I saw a rather breathtaking sunset in the sky!  The clouds that were in this sunset were purple.

On September 26, 2016, I saw some purple clouds in the sky while I was watching the sunset from my home.

So, again, the things that you sometimes see in the sky can amaze you at times!

A “flashy” sunset

We had a fantastic sunset on National Hill on March 11, 2016. Please disregard the flash that you see in the picture. It’s from my smartphone’s camera.

Last Friday evening, we had an interesting sunset, but in my case, I also saw a “flashy” sunset.  Well, that’s because as I was taking a picture of this sunset, I accidentally allowed a bright light to appear in the picture also.  The “flash” that’s in the picture is from my smartphone’s camera.  I’d like to apologize for including it in the picture.  At least I was still able to take a picture of another nice sunset.  This sunset is full of pink clouds and grey clouds.  The sky was dark blue, light blue, pink and orange.

It’s time to see our nighttime sky!

Earlier this week, I took a picture of our nighttime sky just before I went to sleep.
Earlier this week, I took a picture of our nighttime sky just before I went to sleep.

Earlier this week, just before I went to bed, I took a picture of our nighttime sky. The sun had just gone down whenever I took this picture … and most of the streetlights in Cuddy were already on by then. I apologize if the picture is slightly blurry, but I just wanted to show you guys this picture today.
