Don’t Drop It!

Brady has been at our house since March of 2019 … and, at various times, he can be a very nosy bulldog.  Now you have to be on high alert whenever you come across Brady.  I have to do that on a daily basis … and that is especially true whenever I have to watch him during the day.  I do my best not to drop any items in his presence.  If any one of us should drop something in this presence, he may hear it and grab the item that one of us dropped.  He will get a firm grip on the item that’s in his mouth, but he does drop it eventually.  Sometimes, the item is still fine, but other times, the item is not so lucky.  I’ve had two close calls with my smartphone.  I dropped it on our dining room floor … and Brady almost got it.  Talk about a close call.  I also dropped it outside of our front door as I was about to take one of my walks recently.  Luckily, he was not there whenever that happened.  So, remember, don’t drop any items whenever you come across Brady, because there is a good chance that he may grab it almost immediately.

Now, as I wrap up today’s blog post, I would like to say that my blog did cross the 7,000-views mark today … and I will talk about the event in tomorrow’s blog post.

Joseph’s Top Blog Posts About Brady The Bulldog

For just over seven months, Brady has been in our house.  I have written a few blog posts about him since then, but today, I would like to talk about two of my top blog posts, which are about Brady.

One of my posts is entitled “Meet Our New Bulldog, Brady,” which was written by me on April 2, 2019.  I wrote it just days after Brady first came into our house.  Here is a link to it …

On October 22, 2019, I wrote a blog post in one of my features, which is called “Joseph Has A Question For You.”  In the post, I asked you if Brady should wear a costume on Halloween?  Now, Brady was originally supposed to be a Smurf, but, sadly, he chose not to wear the costume.  I also gave you some other choices, like pumpkins, avocados and unicorns.  Here is a link to the blog post …

Brady is, by far, one of the best pets we have ever owned.  I hope you guys still like him as much as we do.

Joseph Has A Question For You: Should Brady dress up on Halloween?

For nearly seven months now, Brady, our English Bulldog, has been in our house … and I’m thinking about giving him a chance to dress up on Halloween.  I saw some neat costumes for pets while I was at Big Lots in Bridgeville on October 11, 2019.  They had avocados, pumpkins and unicorns there, but I may let him dress like a smurf on Halloween.  So, with that in mind, here is my question … Should Brady dress up on Halloween?

Brady has been with us for six months now!

On March 30, 2019, Brady came to our house for the first time.  He’s originally from Ohio.  Our English Bulldog has now been with us for six months … and, while he is still a “work in progress,” he’s still a fantastic dog, nonetheless.  You just have to watch what you do around him.  Make sure you don’t drop anything in his presence.  You have to be really quick if you accidentally drop something around him.  Otherwise, he will grab the item you dropped almost immediately.  It pays to have quick reflexes in this case.

We have now owned our English Bulldog, Brady, for six months now. He’s a fantastic dog, but he’s still a “work in progress.”

I would just like to say that Brady has been able to become a crucial part of our family for the past six months now.  He’s still a work in progress, but we still like him, nonetheless.

Meet Our New Bulldog, Brady

Over the weekend, I got a brand-new bulldog.  This bulldog is full of class … and his name is Brady.  Brady is a male English bulldog, he’s three months old and he’s from the state of Ohio.  He first came to our house on Saturday afternoon … and, over the past three days or so, I have gotten used to having him in our house.  I’m able to watch him sleep on the couch in the mornings whenever I’m able to do so … and I’m also able to watch him outdoors whenever the weather is nice.

So, without further ado, I would like you to meet my new bulldog, Brady.

During the day, Brady likes to sleep on our couch … and, for the past two mornings, I have been able to watch him sleep on the couch for a few minutes or so.  It’s gonna take me a while to get used to having him be in our house regularly, but I think I should be able to handle this adjust fairly well.  Me and Brady became fast friends almost immediately this past weekend.

Let me show you three photos of Brady sleeping on our couch.  I snapped these photos both today and yesterday.

I hope you guys like Brady as much as I do.  How do you guys like him?

Remembering Piglet Four Years Later

February 12th is one of the saddest days of a year for me in a typical year because, on that date in 2015, Piglet, who was my English Bulldog, passed away at the age of 12.  Today, I’m marking the fourth anniversary of Piglet’s passing by writing this blog post down.  Not a day goes by where I don’t think about Piglet.  We have pictures of her all over our house … and we have a pink stone near the front of our house.  I will remember her for a long time.

Also, in recent years, I have talked about my bulldog, Piglet, in a blog post on February 12th of every year … and she was even the subject of my 350th blog post back in 2016.  You can find a link to those posts below the slideshow, which will appear just below this part of the post.

The final resting places of my late pets

Yesterday, I marked the three-year anniversary of the death of my bulldog, Piglet, by showing you photos of my bulldog.  I also showed you her pink stone and her urn.

Today, I’m going to show you the final resting places of my late pets … and their names are Piglet, who was my bulldog, and Beau, who was my white shaggy dog.

First, I’m going to show you Piglet’s urn.  I also included it in a blog post that I wrote down two years ago.  It was about the first anniversary of Piglet’s death … and it was also my 350th blog post.

This is my 350th blog post … and I’m dedicating it to Piglet.

Second, I’d like to show you Beau’s final resting place.  It’s very close to our backyard.  I sometimes visit it whenever I take my walks outdoors.  I also talked about it in one of my blog posts.  I wrote it down back in September of 2016 … and it was in one of my blog’s features, which is called “Joseph’s Moment Of Peace.”

This is Beau’s grave site. Beau was a dog … and he passed away over two decades ago.

I will remember most of these dogs for a long time.  As soon as the weather starts to get warmer, I will visit their final resting places … and I will say hello to them.

Joseph’s Moment Of Peace: Beau’s Grave Site

Today, I’d like to show you something that relaxes me a lot.  It would be Beau’s grave site.  Beau was my dog … and he passed away more than two decades ago.  I really like to visit it whenever I get bored.  Sometimes, I like to put a stick on his grave site.  It relaxes me me because it allows me to talk to Beau for a few short moments whenever I visit his grave site.

Remembering one of my favorite pets

Piglet was our bulldog. She passed away on February 12, 2015, at the age of 12.

I have not felt comfortable talking about one of my pets … until now. Today, I’m talking about my bulldog, Piglet. She passed away two months ago at the age of 12. She was one of my favorite pets ever … and I think about her a lot almost every single day. Our bulldog was very funny … and she would sleep a lot. She would sometimes sleep on our Dallas Cowboys blanket … and I would sometimes play with her at home. I will miss her a lot!
