Our new silver Chevrolet truck

Now, yesterday afternoon, we said good-bye to our red Chevrolet truck after nearly six years.  It was at our house from December 11, 2013, until September 17, 2019.  It was a red 2013 Chevrolet truck.  Now, after we said good-bye to that truck, we were able to replace it with a silver 2019 Chevrolet truck.  We purchased the truck at a Pittsburgh-area Chevrolet dealership.

Now, before I show you our new silver truck, let’s take a moment to say good-bye to our red Chevrolet truck.

OUR RED CHEVROLET TRUCK (December 11, 2013 – September 17, 2019)

Now, I’d like to show you four pictures of our new silver 2019 Chevrolet truck.

I have not been inside of this truck yet, but, hopefully, I’ll be able to go inside of it sometime soon.  Of course, I will also tell you how many miles is on the truck’s odometer whenever I get the chance to do so.  I can hardly wait to go inside of this truck.  I will try to show you the inside of it in a future blog post.

How many miles are on the red truck’s odometer?

On June 5, 2019, I was able to snap a photo of our red truck’s odometer … and, whenever I snapped the photo late that morning, there was 42,532 miles on its odometer.  Since I snapped that photo nearly a month and a half ago, the number has grown somewhat considerably.  I will be going in that truck again later this week … and I will do my best to get the latest reading on the odometer whenever I go in that truck again.

Before I end this blog post, I would like to say thank you for allowing my blog to reach the 100-views mark in every single month during my blog’s fifth year … and, in three of those months, it crossed the 200-views mark.  Now, next time, I will give you a chance to revisit a blog post from my blog’s fifth year … and it will be from January of 2019.

In honor of my blog’s fifth year, I’d like to show you five blog posts that I wrote down on or around July 15th in previous years …

We’ve owned our red truck for five years!

This blog post was originally supposed to be written on December 11, 2018.

We have now owned our red Chevrolet truck for five years.  Before that, we had our blue Chevrolet truck for nearly 23 years.  We owned it from October of 1990 until September of 2013.  Our red Chevrolet truck can now be found in the same spot as our old blue truck … and the red truck is full of class.  I sometimes ride in that truck … and I really like it a lot.

Joseph’s Top Blog Posts For December 2018

The year 2018 is almost over, if you can believe that.  In just a few weeks, we will start the year 2019.  I will give my features another break in December, but I will bring them back in the new year.  Today, I’d like to tell you about the top blog posts for December 2018.

One of my blog posts will be entitled “We’ve owned our red truck for five years!”  We first purchased our red Chevrolet truck in December of 2013.  It replaced our blue Chevrolet truck, which was at our house from October of 1990 until September of 2013.

Another one of my posts will be entitled “I have owned my Motorola smartphone for one year!”  I will talk about my phone, which I have owned for almost one year now.  It says “Hello Moto!” sometimes.  It usually does that whenever someone is trying to call me on it.

Another one of my posts will be entitled “2018 is my blog’s best year yet!”  My blog has now been seen more than 1,300 times this year … and the number will rise before the year is over.  It will probably cross the 1400-views mark at some point in December.

Another one of my posts will be entitled “Joseph Has Had A Cardigan Sweater For One Year!”  I will tell you about my grey cardigan sweater, which I purchased at Sears almost one year ago.  It is very classy.

Another one of my posts will be entitled “Joseph’s Weekends Are Full Of Class!”  I will talk about some classy TV personalities, who generally appear on Pittsburgh’s TV stations on weekends.  Some of them are anchors … and some of them are reporters.  Some of these people may surprise you a little bit.

At around Christmas time, I will write a two-part blog post for you guys.  It will be entitled “Joseph’s Top Blog Posts For 2018.”  I will tell you about the year’s top blog posts in the two-part blog post.

I will write my 1,025th blog post down in December.  It could be about anything.

Another one of my blog posts will be entitled “Good-bye, Sally Wiggin.”  She is retiring from WTAE this week … and I will talk about meeting her at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center, which is located in Downtown Pittsburgh.  I did it in the late 2000s.

Another one of my posts will be entitled “Joseph’s Christmas Presents For 2018.”  I will talk about my Christmas presents in the blog post in December … and I will turn a few of my presents into blog posts in January.

Another one of my posts will be entitled “Joseph’s Nike Air Jacket.”  I will talk about the classy item in a blog post in December.

I hope you will check out my posts on my blog in December.  Thank you for checking out my blog in 2018 … and I hope you will continue to check out my blog in 2019.

Enjoy your day!

In honor of my blog’s fifth year, I’d like to show you five blog posts that I wrote down on or around November 29th in previous years …

Joseph’s Flashback: Joseph remembers the red truck!

Several years ago, we had a red Chevrolet truck at our house.  I also talked about it in a blog post a in November of 2015.  Ironically, it was in one of my features, which is called “Joseph’s Flashback.”  Well, today, I’d like to talk about the truck in another one of my blog posts.  We owned this truck in the ’80s and ’90s.

I recently found a photo of me and my grandfather, Nicholas Papakie, Sr., hanging out by our old red truck.  The photo is from 1989.  Since my grandfather will be turning 75 this month, I’d like to talk about him very briefly in this blog post as well.  It was his truck.  As you can see in the photo, which is below this blog post, we both like this truck a lot.

Before I show you the photo, I’d like to remind you that I had to censor part of it for safety reasons.

Again, in November of 2015, I talked about our old red Chevrolet truck in a blog post.  It was used in today’s feature, which is called “Joseph’s Flashback.”  I didn’t have a photo of the red truck when I wrote that blog post back then, so I decided to include a photo of it in today’s blog post.

We have owned this red truck for two years now!

Two years ago this month, we purchased a red Chevrolet Silverado at Century III Chevrolet in West Mifflin.  This truck is fantastic … and I really like it a lot.  I don’t ride in it very often, but I may get to ride in it occasionally.

Also … I got to take a selfie with this truck recently.  Let me show it to you now.

Let’s see how many miles is on our red truck’s odometer today!

It’s been a while since I’ve talked about our red truck, so today, I’m gonna talk about that.  Actually, I’m gonna tell you how many miles is on our red truck’s odometer.  As of today, our red truck has at least 12,176 miles on the odometer.  That number will probably be different by the time you read this blog post, though.
