One year ago this week, we purchased our red truck at a local Chevrolet dealership. In a way, it actually replaced two vehicles here at our house. It replaced the green truck, which was only at our house for 18 months, and it replaced our old blue truck, which was at our house for nearly 23 years. It has about 7,000 miles on it right now … and hopefully at some point in 2015, it will hit the 10,000-mile mark. I do get to ride in it occasionally … and it’s a great truck to be in. Hopefully I’ll get to ride in it again soon!
Back in December of 2013, we purchased a red truck from a Pittsburgh-area Chevrolet dealership. It replaced a green truck that we had here on our property before we had the red truck. We only had the green truck for almost 18 months. It also replaces our blue truck, which was at our house for 23 years. I’ll talk about it in a future blog post. Anyway, let’s talk about our red truck. As of today, our red truck has 5,428 miles on its odometer. It’s a digital odometer … and you can’t see what’s on it until you open up one of the truck’s doors. I have a picture of our odometer here. I don’t think you can see it very well, but it can actually tell you how many miles are on it.
