Happy 70th Birthday, Barbara Papakie!

During the second half of my blog’s fifth year, I’m gonna give you some chances to revisit some of my past blog posts. Today, I’m going to let you revisit the last blog post from my blog’s second year, which is from August of 2016.

Now, the blog post that I’m going to let you revisit today was written by me on August 14, 2016 … and, on that day, my grandmother, Barbara Papakie, was turning 70. I kept the blog post short by wishing her a happy 70th birthday. She is one of the people who has been able to turn me into the classy gentleman that I am now. She’s slightly over 70 now, but, nonetheless, she is still a terrific woman.

During the month of May, I will give you a chance to revisit some of my blog posts from my blog’s third year. Some of them may look interesting to you. Enjoy your day!

In honor of my blog’s fifth year, I’d like to show you five blog posts that I wrote down on or around April 30th in previous years …

Meet Our New Bulldog, Brady

Over the weekend, I got a brand-new bulldog.  This bulldog is full of class … and his name is Brady.  Brady is a male English bulldog, he’s three months old and he’s from the state of Ohio.  He first came to our house on Saturday afternoon … and, over the past three days or so, I have gotten used to having him in our house.  I’m able to watch him sleep on the couch in the mornings whenever I’m able to do so … and I’m also able to watch him outdoors whenever the weather is nice.

So, without further ado, I would like you to meet my new bulldog, Brady.

On March 30, 2019, Brady, who is a male brown and white English bulldog, came to our house. The bulldog is from Ohio … and he’s three months old. He is full of class.

During the day, Brady likes to sleep on our couch … and, for the past two mornings, I have been able to watch him sleep on the couch for a few minutes or so.  It’s gonna take me a while to get used to having him be in our house regularly, but I think I should be able to handle this adjust fairly well.  Me and Brady became fast friends almost immediately this past weekend.

Let me show you three photos of Brady sleeping on our couch.  I snapped these photos both today and yesterday.

I hope you guys like Brady as much as I do.  How do you guys like him?

You are seeing double today … sort of!

During the second half of my blog’s fifth year, I am giving you a chance to revisit some of my past blog posts.

Today, I’m going to show you the last blog post that I wrote down during my blog’s first year. In the blog post, me and my uncle, Thomas Papakie, were wearing our tan-colored shorts and our black Nike Pro Combat T-shirts. The shirts were very classy … and we were able to wear them for a while just one day before I wrote that blog post. After I wrote the blog post down, I celebrated my blog’s first year by giving you some statistics about my blog … and I would be able to do it in several of my blog posts every August as I prepare to celebrate my blog’s anniversary. Of course, I would celebrate my blog’s actual anniversary on August 24th of every year by giving you a fantastic blog post, thanking people for supporting my blog every step of the way.

In honor of my blog’s fifth year, I’d like to show you five blog posts that I wrote down on or around March 27th in previous years …

Yesterday afternoon, me and my uncle, Thomas Papakie, wore our black Nike shirts and our tan-colored shorts in front of our relatives.  At first, I was reluctant, but then I decided to allow me and my uncle to wear our outfits for several minutes yesterday afternoon.  Yes, he likes the outfit as much as I do.

Also … before I wrap up this blog post, I have two announcements to make … and it’s a good one.  On August 24th, my blog turns one year old … and next week, I will begin to celebrate my blog’s first anniversary by talking about some interesting things about it.  Also … on the 24th, I will write an exciting blog post in honor of this special occasion.

How to wear button-down shirts and jackets with class

On March 20, 2019, just over two hours after Spring officially started, me and my uncle, Thomas Papakie, were able to wear both the Chaps plaid button-down shirts and the Nike Air jackets.  I purchased the shirts for me and my uncle at T.J. Maxx just last Friday … and we both got our Nike Air jackets for Christmas nearly three months ago.

Now, on Christmas night in 2018, me and Thomas wore the black and white Nike Air jackets in front of our relatives … and, last night, we were able to wear them for a few brief moments in my “computer room.”  Yes, as you might have guessed, we were able to wear them with class.  The jackets go nicely with either jeans, dress pants or shorts … and, in some cases, they may go nicely with either gym shorts or lounge pants.

As I said at the beginning of this blog post, me and Thomas wore the black and white Nike Air jackets and the plaid button-down Chaps shirts here in my “computer room” for a few moments last night, just over two hours after we said hello to Spring.

As you can see, we were both able to wear both of these items with class … and we may do that again at some point in the future.

Two years ago, I got my grey Superman shirt … and I’ve worn it several times since I got it.  I’ve worn it mainly with jeans, but I will try to wear it with shorts and dress pants later this year as well.

I have been able to wear my grey Superman shirt with class a few times over the past two years.

Remembering Piglet Four Years Later

February 12th is one of the saddest days of a year for me in a typical year because, on that date in 2015, Piglet, who was my English Bulldog, passed away at the age of 12.  Today, I’m marking the fourth anniversary of Piglet’s passing by writing this blog post down.  Not a day goes by where I don’t think about Piglet.  We have pictures of her all over our house … and we have a pink stone near the front of our house.  I will remember her for a long time.

Also, in recent years, I have talked about my bulldog, Piglet, in a blog post on February 12th of every year … and she was even the subject of my 350th blog post back in 2016.  You can find a link to those posts below the slideshow, which will appear just below this part of the post.

Blog Post Number 1,050 Is About My “Super” Uncle

I will not be using my computer until Saturday, February 2nd.  I will try to give you guys some terrific blog posts while I give my computer a break this week.

Today, I’m writing my 1,050th blog post on my blog … and it will be about my “super” uncle, whose name is Thomas Papakie.  I’m calling him a “super” uncle because he has a grey Superman shirt , just like I do.  We were able to wear them with class right before Christmas in 2018.

The Origins Of “Mr. Classy”

For the past three years now, I have been able to call myself “Mr. Classy” whenever I would wear the grey Michael Kors jacket or the black leather jacket, which is from Vintage Leather.  Like yours truly, “Mr. Classy” is an introvert also.  He likes to be alone after being out and about for hours at a time.

Well, anyway, let me tell you how I cam up with “Mr. Classy” as my current nickname.  In 2015, one of my friends, whose name is Jeff Mooney, worked with me at Bridgeville T.J. Maxx … and he would sometimes call himself “Mr. Grey.”  It was sort of named after a character in the movie “Fifty Shades Of Grey.”  That’s sort of the reason why I chose “Mr. Classy” as my current nickname.  It happened just days after I bought my grey Michael Kors jacket at T.J. Maxx.  I like the jacket so much, I wanted to create an alter ego based around the jacket.  I didn’t call myself “Mr. Classy” right away.  As we were about to start the year 2016 together, I put on the jacket, I said I was “Mr. Classy” and “Mr. Classy” was born.

These pictures of “Mr. Classy” appeared in my blog posts throughout 2018.

These pictures of “Mr. Classy” appeared on my blog throughout 2017.

These pictures of “Mr. Classy” appeared on my blog throughout 2016.

In December of 2015, I snapped these photos right after I purchased the grey Michael Kors jacket.  I wouldn’t start calling myself “Mr. Classy” until the beginning of 2016.

“Mr. Classy” has had a lot of fun over the past three years … and he has had two “stand-ins” in those three years.  The “stand-ins” have also worn the grey MK jackets.  Jonathan Reed was Mr. Classy’s original “stand-in” … and Tim Smith is his current “stand-in.”

“‘Mr. Classy’ and his ‘stand-ins” all say, ‘see you all later!'”

Thank you for allowing me to become “Mr. Classy” for the past three years.

I will be giving my computer a break from 7:00 this evening until 5:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 2nd.  I will try to give you some terrific blog posts while I give my computer a break over the next week.  Enjoy your day!
