Say hello to my friend, Jessica Asti

Last Sunday, at around 10:10 in the morning, I was leaving Heidelberg Shop ‘n Save after shopping in there for a few minutes … and, just before I walked out one of the doors, I just happened to bump into another one of my classmates.  Her name is Jessica Asti.  In the past, she was Jessica Deep.  Jessica is one of my neighbors on National Hill … and we both went to South Fayette High School together.  Obviously, in the past, we would bump into each other at the bus stop, which was at one end of Campbell Avenue.  Jessica lived on Allegheny Avenue, which is the other street on National Hill.  She’s not currently one of my neighbors at this time, but she does visit National Hill from time to time … and, in a way, she’s still one of my neighbors.

Anyway, whenever I bumped into Jessica at Heidelberg Shop ‘n Save last week, she was nice enough to pose for a selfie with me … and you can see it below this part of the blog post.

Happy birthday, Mark McKnight!

Six months ago, before I began my shift at Bridgeville T.J. Maxx one morning, I bumped into Mark McKnight, who went to South Fayette High School with me in the 2000s.  I wrote a blog post about that event back in September … and it was called “Say hello to my friend, Mark McKnight.”

Well, just over six months later, I’m gonna wish my friend, Mark, a happy birthday in a blog post.  He’s one of the classiest friends that I have ever known.

No More Dances For Joseph?

Over the past few years, I have been able to go to the Mardi Gras dances, which are located at South Fayette High School.  They would actually be in the school’s cafeteria.  I have actually missed a couple of dances over the years … and, sadly, I didn’t go to the one that took place there a few weeks ago.  Unfortunately, I have decided that I do not want to go to those dances anymore.  The reason why I don’t want to go there anymore may surprise you.  I just don’t like to stay out very late anymore.  I will continue to bump into my friends in public places whenever I have the time to do so.

Last year, I got this emoji pillow at the Mardi Gras dance.

This is my new emoji pillow. It’s, obviously, a “loving” emoji. The mouth is open … and the eyes resemble hearts. I got this pillow at the Mardi Gras dance back on February 24, 2017.

Three years ago, I was able to wear this outfit to the Mardi Gras dance.  I looked like a classy gentleman in this photo.

While I won’t be seeing my friends at the Mardi Gras dance anymore, it’s nice to know that I’ll be seeing them in other places in our area in the future.

Joseph bumps into “Mr. Pete!”

A few weeks ago, while I was at the Bob Evans restaurant in Bridgeville, I bumped into a teacher that I had not seen in over 10 years.  Well, yesterday, while I was at Colussy Chevrolet in Bridgeville, I bumped into a teacher that I had not seen since at least the late ’90s.  He was actually one of my teachers at South Fayette Middle School.  In fact, some of my relatives had him while they were in school as well.  Two of those people are regular followers of my blog.  That teacher’s name is John Petersavage, who is also known as “Mr. Pete” to his students and some of his fellow teachers and workers.

It’s always exciting whenever I get to bump into people at various places in and around the Pittsburgh area.  You never know who I might be bumping into next.  It might be someone that I hadn’t seen since … the 1980s.

Say hello to my friend, Mark McKnight

Over the past several weeks or so, I have bumped into several familiar faces at various places throughout the Pittsburgh area … and I did just that again last Friday while I was at Bridgeville T.J. Maxx.  Before I started working last Friday morning, I bumped into Mark McKnight while I was looking around on the sales floor.  We both went to South Fayette High School together … and we were able to snap a selfie while we were talking on the sales floor.

Joseph’s Flashback: I didn’t always go to one of South Fayette’s school buildings!

I have been a resident of South Fayette since I was a baby back in the Spring of 1986.  I was a student in the South Fayette School District for a long time; however, I did not always go to one of their school buildings.  I would start to go to these schools whenever I was in the second grade … and that was back in the fall of 1993.

Before I went to South Fayette’s school buildings as a student, I went to two different schools, which were located in other school districts near Pittsburgh.

First, I went to a school, which is located on Banksville Road in Banksville.  I really liked that school a lot.

Then, I went to Jefferson Elementary School, which is located in Mt. Lebanon.  I really liked it there.  In fact, while I was there back in April of 1992, I was able to appear in two photos, which were in “The Pittsburgh Press” back then.  How exciting was that?

I really liked being in some great school buildings back then … and I also liked being in South Fayette’s school buildings also.

Enjoy your day!

We have the exact same birthday!

On the evening of December 23, 2016, I bumped into Ryan Wolf, who is both my friend and my classmate. Believe it or not, we both have the same exact birthday, which is May 1, 1986.

On December 23, 2016, I bumped into Ryan Wolf for the first time in over two years.  I actually bumped into him at our 10-year class reunion back in the summer of 2014.

We are both friends and classmates … and, believe it or not, we were both born on the exact same day, which is May 1, 1986.  What are the odds of having two friends being born on the same day?  I don’t really know.  Ryan is one of the coolest and classiest friends that I have ever known.
