This blog talks about the things that interest Joseph Pratt the most. It also talks about the events that are going on in Joseph Pratt's life! Also, occasionally, I will talk about some things that happened to me whenever I was younger, I will talk about a past blog post that I liked to write and I will also ask you guys some interesting questions as well.
Today, I am writing my 1,250th blog post … and, whenever I write special blog posts like this one, I write about anything that I think is interesting. It can be about a person, a place or a thing. Well, today, since I’m halfway between my 1,000th blog post and my 1,500th blog post, I’m going to write about a person, a place and a thing. The person is James Bendel, the place is Crazy Horse Coffee and the thing is a classy item from Crazy Horse Coffee.
Now, just last month, I was able to meet the owner of Crazy Horse Coffee, whose name is James Bendel. I also went to this coffee shop earlier this year. I would like to say that James does a fantastic job in running this coffee shop whenever he can. I am a true fan of this place. I was able to get a drink while I was there last month … and I was able to buy a classy item while I was there.
On October 22, 2019, I was able to meet James, who is the owner of Crazy Horse Coffee in Washington County. I am a fan of this coffee shop.
I was able to buy three of these classy items at Crazy Horse Coffee on October 22, 2019.
Now, for 5 1/2 years, there was a show on A&E called “Wahlburgers.” It was about the Wahlberg family … and it would sometimes talk about a restaurant called Wahlburgers, which is located near their home in Hingham, Massachusetts. Now, Wahlburgers has several locations around the world … and one of those locations is in The Mall at Robinson, which is actually in the food court. It’s not actually in the food court, per se, as it has their own seating area. It’s primarily a sit-down restaurant.
I actually got to go to a Wahlburgers restaurant for the first time ever on September 23, 2019. I had watched “Wahlburgers” on a nearly-regular basis for 5 1/2 years on A&E. I watched it mainly on demand whenever the show was on A&E. I would actually get to see some Wahlburgers restaurants on the show … and I would sometimes see the food that they have on there. I also got to see them building a Wahlburgers restaurant several times on the show.
On September 23, 2019, I went to Wahlburgers, which is at The Mall at Robinson. This is what it looks like on the outside.
This is the entrance to Wahlburgers, which is at The Mall at Robinson. It’s located in the food court at The Mall at Robinson. It’s not technically in the food court, as it has its own seating area.
This is a sign of Pittsburgh, which can be found just outside of Wahlburgers.
Now, I was able to enjoy myself while I was there. The waitress who served me and my relatives that day did a fantastic job in serving us. She also give us a little speech to first-time customers, like myself. It went very well. I was there at around lunch time this past Monday. It wasn’t too busy whenever I first arrived there, but more people came in while we were there.
Now, inside of the restaurant, you can see pictures of the Wahlberg family … and you can also see the TV shows and movies that Donnie and Mark Wahlberg have done over the years.
Now, while I was at the restaurant, I had water, a vanilla frappe, which is really a milkshake, Jenn’s Chicken Sandwich, which is a grilled chicken sandwich, and some french fries. I also got to try out some special sauces that they had … and some of them were pretty good. One of those sauces was the Wahl Sauce. It was fairly good.

As I was leaving Wahlburgers in The Mall at Robinson on September 23, 2019, I was able to snap a selfie outside of Wahlburgers. I like the restaurant a lot. The food and the service were both excellent. I will be going there again in the future.
As you can see here, I really enjoyed going to Wahlburgers. I will be going there again in the future. The restaurant is fantastic!
On August 24, 2019, this blog, which is called “Joseph Pratt’s Interests And Some Other Things,” turned five years old … and, as you might have guessed, I celebrated the milestone at home that morning … and, that afternoon, I celebrated the milestone at Fairview Park. It was one of the most exciting days of my life. Whenever I went to Fairview Park for three hours on that day, I was able to go to South Fayette’s Community Day … and I bumped into some of my friends while I was there. I also bumped into a local congressman while I was at Fairview Park. I also bumped into a meteorologist from an out-of-town TV station, which is actually quite viewable here in southwestern Allegheny County.
I also saw some fantastic-looking clouds in the skies above Fairview Park while I was at Community Day.
Now, while I was at this event, I bumped into some of my friends … and I was also able to snap a selfie with a few of my friends while I was there. Some of those friends are Dustin Lunn, Michael Meehan and Katie Meehan.
On August 24, 2019, I bumped into Dustin Lunn, who is from Lunn Chiropractic Company, while I was at South Fayette’s Community Day. I first bumped into Dustin in late 2018 as I was finishing my shift at Bridgeville T.J. Maxx.
On August 24, 2019, just before I left South Fayette’s Community Day, I bumped into Michael Meehan and Katie Meehan.
I also bumped into Congressman Conor Lamb, who is from the South Hills.
While I was at this event, I happened to bump into a TV meteorologist. Now, this weatherman is not on one of our TV stations here in Pittsburgh, but this station is actually quite viewable in southwestern Allegheny County. The weatherman’s name is Jeff Oechslein, who is the morning meteorologist at WTOV, which is the NBC affiliate in Steubenville, Ohio. Let me explain this situation to you. More than 15 years ago, I was able to watch WTOV on our TVs at my house before we started to get cable TV on just about every TV set in our house. I would sometimes watch Jeff on the station’s morning newscast … and, in a way, that’s how I recognized this weatherman.
All in all, I had a fantastic day at Fairview Park on August 24, 2019. I would like to say thank you to the people who were able to bump into me at this event back then … and I would like to say all of you for allowing me to have a blog for five years. It has grown gracefully since August of 2014.
Yesterday, in the first part of this two-part blog post, I told you about my trip to Kennywood by describing the day in general. In it, I told you about the clouds that I saw in the skies above the amusement park, I told you about the friends that I met while I was there and I told you about the station’s Mobile Weather Lab. Now, today, in the second part of this two-part blog post, I’m going to tell you about some of the personalities that I met while I was at Kennywood Park. One of them recently retired from KDKA after working there for 37 years … and I will tell you which one it is before I end the two-part blog post. So, without further ado, let me show you the personalities that I met while I was at Kennywood back on July 26th.
The first personality I bumped into while I was at Kennywood was Susan Koeppen. Susan anchors the 4:00 and 6:00 newscasts with Stacy Smith … and she anchors the 11:00 newscast with Ken Rice. She does this during the week.
I also bumped into three of KDKA’s reporters while I was there. They are Lisa Washington, Amy Wadas and Meghan Schiller. Now, Lisa, Amy and Meghan are some of KDKA’s reporters … and, just last month, Lisa became the anchor of KDKA’s weekend morning newscasts.
Before I tell you which KDKA personality retired after working there for 37 years, I’d like to give you a fun fact. Just last month, KDKA added a regular Sunday morning newscast for the first time in the station’s history. It airs from 7 until 9 on Sunday mornings.
Now, I’d like you to see the personality who retired recently after working at KDKA for 37 years.
I was able to meet Jon Burnett while I was at Kennywood Park. He retired from KDKA after working there for 37 years. He did “Evening Magazine” and “Pittsburgh 2Day” before he became a weatherman for KDKA. He also did “Pittsburgh Today Live” for a while in recent years.
I hope you guys were able to enjoy this two-part blog post as much as I enjoyed it. I really enjoyed myself at Kennywood during KDKA Summerblast Day. I did see some other KDKA personalities while I was at Kennywood, but I did not want to disturb them since they were fairly busy.
On the morning of July 4, 2019, I went to Giant Eagle in Collier Township for a few minutes … and, just before I left the store, I bumped into Donna Barca, who is the mother of my cousin, Sarah Smith. I have bumped into Donna several times over the years, but I have never had a chance to appear in a selfie with her … until then. You will see that selfie below this part of the blog post.
As you can see here, Donna is a very classy woman … and I would like to thank her for allowing me to appear in the selfie with her on the Fourth of July.
Last Sunday, at around 10:10 in the morning, I was leaving Heidelberg Shop ‘n Save after shopping in there for a few minutes … and, just before I walked out one of the doors, I just happened to bump into another one of my classmates. Her name is Jessica Asti. In the past, she was Jessica Deep. Jessica is one of my neighbors on National Hill … and we both went to South Fayette High School together. Obviously, in the past, we would bump into each other at the bus stop, which was at one end of Campbell Avenue. Jessica lived on Allegheny Avenue, which is the other street on National Hill. She’s not currently one of my neighbors at this time, but she does visit National Hill from time to time … and, in a way, she’s still one of my neighbors.
Anyway, whenever I bumped into Jessica at Heidelberg Shop ‘n Save last week, she was nice enough to pose for a selfie with me … and you can see it below this part of the blog post.
Today, I am writing my 1,125th blog post down … and it will be about my Henley shirt, which is from Railyard Grill and Tap Room. This is probably one of the classiest shirts that I have ever owned. I got the shirt last month while I was at the restaurant. The Henley shirt is both light grey and dark grey … and the sleeves are 3/4 inches long. There are three buttons on the Henley shirt … and “Railyard Tap Room” appears on the front part of the Henley shirt. The shirt can be worn with jeans, shorts or dress pants. You can either wear the Henley shirt by itself or you can wear it over a T-shirt.
I bought the shirt for 25 dollars while I was at the restaurant last month.
Just moments after I bought the shirt back on April 7, 2019, I tired it on … and it would fit me perfectly. I snapped a selfie just minutes after I bought the shirt … and I snapped two photos of myself wearing the shirt four days later.
I bought my Henley shirt from Railyard Grill and Tap Room on April 7, 2019. I like the shirt a lot and it fits me perfectly.
I snapped two photos of myself wearing the Henley shirt on April 11, 2019. I wore it with shorts on that day. Here’s the first photo that I took on that day.
Here’s the second photo that I took back on April 11, 2019.
When I celebrated my 33rd birthday on May 1st, I wore my Henley shirt since I would be going to the Railyard Grill and Tap Room for lunch on that day. I wore my shirt both at home and at the restaurant on that day. Now, while I was at the restaurant, I bumped into Nicholas Ciesielski, who wore his Henley shirt to the restaurant then. He was scheduled to come in later in the afternoon, but he was nice enough to stop in early to wish me a happy birthday and to appear in a selfie with me.
I celebrated my 33rd birthday on May 1, 2019 … and I wore my Henley shirt from Railyard Grill and Tap Room since I would be eating lunch there that day.
Here’s a close-up shot of the shirt.
I wore my Henley shirt to the Railyard Grill and Tap Room on May 1, 2019.
On May 21, 2019, I went to the Railyard Grill and Tap Room for lunch … and, this time, I bumped into Cody Ciesielski while I was there. Cody worked with me several years ago at Bridgeville T.J. Maxx and he’s a terrific friend of mine. Cody and I both had our Henley shirts on while we were at the restaurant.
I wore my Henley shirt on May 21, 2019, since I would be going to the Railyard Grill and Tap Room for lunch on that day.
This Henley shirt is full of class … and I really like it a lot.

As you can see here, I like my Henley shirt, which is from Railyard Grill and Tap Room, a lot … and I hope you guys do also. It’s one of the classiest shirts I have ever owned. Please buy yourselves this shirt if you go to that restaurant.
Next time, I will give you a chance to revisit a blog post from my blog’s third year … and it’s from the Spring of 2017. I will give you a hint … I will talk about a shirt, which is from another classy business. The business is also in Bridgeville.
Today, I am writing my first blog post of 2019 … and I would like to start the year off by telling you about a person that I bumped into while I was walking through Bridgeville Giant Eagle on Christmas Eve. I also bumped into this person at Bob Evans, which is located on Route 50 near Kirwan Heights. The person’s name is Victor Iagnemma. He’s a teacher at South Fayette High School … and we works mainly in the school’s athletic wing. You’ll usually find him in either the gym or the fitness center. Well, anyway, while I bumped into him at Bridgeville Giant Eagle, I snapped a selfie with him … and you’ll see it below this part of the blog post.
I hope you guys will be able to check out at least one of my blog posts in 2019. My blog will celebrate its fifth anniversary on August 24th … and, as we get closer to that anniversary, I will give you guys lots of surprises.
On November 17, 2018, while I was shopping at Imperial Shop ‘n Save with my relatives, I bumped into Brandon McEwen, who went to South Fayette High School with me in the 2000s. I have bumped into some terrific people over the years … and, of course, you never know who you’re gonna bump into whenever you go out and about. Who knows? I may turn those moments into blog posts … and I’ve done that several times over the past four years.
Next time, “Mr. Classy” will give you a little pre-Thanksgiving treat.
