It was a close one!

May 2018 is now officially my blog’s second best month ever … and March 2017 is still my blog’s best month ever.  Let me tell you how close we came to setting a new record in May.

In March of 2017, my blog was seen 167 times by various people … and, in May of 2018, it was seen 162 times by various people.  We missed the record by just five views.  It was a close one.  Hopefully, my blog can set a new record at some point in the future.  We just didn’t set one this time around.

Let’s Talk About A Past Blog Post: My blog recently set two new records!

Back in April, I wrote a blog post entitled “My blog recently set two new records!”  In it, I talked about the two records that my blog set in March.

First, my blog set a record for having the most views in a single day.  My blog got viewed 43 times in a single day back in March.  Second, my blog set a record for having the most views in a single month.  It got viewed 167 times back in March of 2017.  As of today, both of those records are still standing.

Here’s a link to that blog post …

Looking at my blog’s statistics regularly

For over three years, I have been writing blog posts on this blog … and I have also been able to look at my blog’s statistics almost every day.  Some of the statistics sometimes take me by surprise here.  It all depends on how well my blog is doing on any given day, of course.  It might actually be my favorite part of my blog.  I will actually put a few of my blog’s statistics to use in a blog post later this month.

Hopefully my fellow bloggers get good numbers whenever they check their blog’s statistics as well.  They might be surprising, too.
