Something is different about one of our rooms (Part 2)

Have you guessed which room this hardwood floor is in? The room that the floor is in is the subject of my latest two-part blog post … and, in the first part of my two-part blog post, I showed you this hardwood floor. In the second part of the two-part blog post, I will tell you which room the floor is in.

As I wrap up the two-part blog post today, I’m going to tell you which room the hardwood floor is in. In the first part of this two-part blog post, which I wrote yesterday, I showed you the hardwood floor. Since I wrote the blog post, I gave you guys a chance to guess which room the floor is in. I gave you a hint as I wrapped up the first part of the two-part blog post. Here’s the hint … I use the room very frequently during the day.

Well, I am now allowed to tell you which room the floor is in. The room is … my “computer room!”

Over the weekend, my “computer room” got a much-needed makeover. The rug, which had been in this room for a number of years, left my “computer room” on June 13, 2020. The room now has just a hardwood floor in it.

Over the weekend, my “computer room” got a makeover. It wasn’t actually a big makeover, but it was something that had been in the works for quite some time. For a number of years, a brown rug was in this room … and now there is just a hardwood floor in this room. I hope you guys like it as much as I do. My “computer room” hasn’t changed a whole lot. It’s just that the rug is no longer in this room.

I’m still getting used to this change, but, in a way, I’m starting to like having a hardwood floor in this room. I do use my “computer room” a lot on a daily basis. It relaxes me in a big way.

Joseph Remembers His Battle With Lyme Disease Four Years Later

It has almost been four years since I first got Lyme Disease. Now, since we are dealing with the COVID-19 Pandemic this year, I won’t talk about my battle with Lyme Disease in detail. I want to avoid doing that out of respect for the people who may be going through COVID-19 in a big way. Let’s just say my battle with Lyme Disease was a scary one. I’ve been doing well for the past four years now.

Stay safe, my friends!

I will give my computer a break from 7:00 this evening until 5:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 13th. I will thank more of my blog’s followers in two more of my blog posts next week … and I will give you a surprise blog post next week as well.

Crossing the 50-views mark in a single day for the first time ever

May 14, 2020, is quite far one of the best days in the history of my blog.  I didn’t write a blog post on that day, but sometimes you don’t have to write a blog post in order to get a huge number of views on it on any given day.  For the first time ever, on that day, my blog crossed the 50-views mark in a single day.  Now, typically, I would get maybe somewhere between 30 and 50 views in a single week, but I never would have thought that I would get at least 50 views in one day.  Now, obviously, my blog set a new one-day record whenever it crossed the 50-views mark in a single day … and, on that day, it was seen 65 times in a single day.  The previous one-day record is 46 views, which was reached on The Fourth of July in 2019.

Now, I have had a blog for nearly six years now … and it had never crossed the 50-views mark in a single day before … until May 14, 2020.  That date will forever be one of the best dates ever in my blog’s history.  That one-day record will likely remain intact for quite some time.  So, with that in mind, thank you for allowing my blog to cross the 50-views mark in a single day back on May 14, 2020.  I will never forget that moment.

Joseph Is Practicing Social Distancing With Brady

As we continue to deal with the Coronavirus Outbreak, I hope you guys are doing your best to practice Social Distancing as much as possible.  All you have to do is stay at least six feet away from the nearest person, but you may want to stay at least six feet away from pets as well.  I did just that while I was in my dining room this morning.  Brady and I were both in the dining room this morning … and, while we were in there, me and him just happened to practice Social Distancing … and it obviously went fairly well.  Brady likes to be close to people a lot, but I think Brady needs to practice Social Distancing by staying six feet away from us for a while.  It will be hard for him to do just that, though.

Joseph gets an early morning surprise!

At around 4:10 this morning, after I made coffee for me and my grandparents in my home, I was able to sit in our living room for about 45 minutes or so … and get myself ready for the new day.  While I was sitting in the blue living room chair early this morning, I noticed that Brady was in the living room with me … and then he rested behind our chairs in the early morning hours.  That almost never happens, but, of course, Brady wanted to try something different this morning.  He was completely relaxed … and, whenever I watch him during the day, he is both relaxed and very energetic.  You have to be ready for anything whenever Brady is around.  You never know what time I may see him in our living room.

On April 8, 2020, while I was sitting in our blue living room chair for a few minutes that morning, I noticed that Brady was resting behind our chairs in the early morning hours. I was surprised to see him there whenever I was relaxing in the living room at around 4:30 in the morning.

Joseph recently wrote his 1,337th blog post down!

This past Sunday, while I was checking out my statistics on my blog, I was able to see some of the notifications on it as well … and, as I was looking at them, I noticed something unusual in one of those notifications.  In one of the blue badges, there was a pencil in it … and next to it was the number “1337.”  It was somewhat unusual because I didn’t think something exciting would happen if I got to this particular point on my blog.  Well, after seeing the badge … and after seeing the message saying that WordPress wants to congratulate me on writing 1,337 posts on my blog, I decided to search for the number on Google.  It turns out that the number “1,337” means “elite.”

Well, I just happened to write a blog post for you guys at 7:00 on Sunday morning … and little did I know it would become my 1,337th blog post.  The blog post is about me watching old episodes of “The Oprah Winfrey Show” on demand.  Those episodes are on OWN On Demand … and they are mainly from the second half of Oprah’s 25-year run on TV.  That would be from around the late ’90s until 2011.

So, anyway, I just wanted to say thank you for taking the time to check out at least one or several of my 1,337 blog posts that I wrote down before I wrote the 1,337th blog post on Sunday.  I wrote a post yesterday, which was my 1,338th blog post … and, today, I’m writing a blog post, which is my 1,339th blog post.  So, if you would like to see the post that would quietly become an “elite” blog post, you can check out the link here …

On April 5, 2020, I wrote my 1,337th blog post on my blog. I didn’t know that “1,337” is a special number on this bog.

Staying safe during the Coronavirus Outbreak

Now, for the past several days now, lots of people have been talking about the Coronavirus Outbreak that’s been sweeping through our country in one form or another … and they have been seen stories about it just about every day for the past few days or so.  Now, the Coronavirus is in Pennsylvania and it’s also in Allegheny County, so a lot of people, including myself, are doing whatever they can to stay safe during this Outbreak.  That means a lot of us will have to stay home as much as possible for the next few days or so … and many of us won’t be able to work for a while.

This past Friday, for the first time in quite some time, I was able to stay home for the entire day on a Friday.  I was not able to work at T.J. Maxx and HomeGoods in Bridgeville then since the store would be closed for the next few days.  I am doing everything I can to stay safe during this Coronavirus Outbreak … and I hope you guys are also.

Now, as you may have guessed, I write all of my blog posts at home on my computer, which, of course, is in my “computer room.”  I generally write four or five blog posts on my blog every week … and I will still write blog posts for you guys while I’m in my “computer room.”  I know you guys like my posts a lot … and I hope you guys will like the posts that I write down as we continue to deal with this Outbreak.

Enjoy your day … and stay safe as we continue to deal with this Coronavirus Outbreak.  We will try very hard to get through it.  Yes, I will continue to write my blog posts at home.

Joseph’s Moment Of Peace: I need some “me time” in my “computer room” at 6:00 on weekday evenings!

Now, I am no longer taking my evening walks around National Hill.  In a matter of days, it will be harder for me to stay indoors after 6:00 in the evening, since it will be getting darker after that time in just a few days.  Now, I am actually giving myself a little “me time” in my “computer room” at 6:00 on weekday evenings.  To me, it’s very relaxing … and it’s beneficial to me since Brady has eaten up my “me time” over the past few months or so.  I have to watch Brady on certain days … and it eats up my “me time” in a big way.  In this day and age, having “me time” is important, even if it’s just for a short time.  You can probably do it in a private room in your house or apartment.  Maybe you guys can give yourselves “me time” at 6:00 on weekday evenings, just in case you had a tough day in either work or school.

I saw one of my co-workers at Bridgeville Giant Eagle three times today!

This afternoon, at around lunch time or so, I went to Bridgeville Giant Eagle … and, while I was there, I happened to bump into one of my co-workers three times … and her name is Sue Cagni.  She works with me at Bridgeville T.J. Maxx.  We have both worked there in one form or another for nearly 13 years.  She is both a terrific co-worker and a terrific friend … and I sometimes see her there whenever I work there on any given Friday.  Will I see her at work this Friday?  Maybe.

Joseph Is Not Watching PCNC Anymore

We are already one week into the year 2020 and the 2020s … and some parts of the new year and the new decade have not been good to me, especially when it comes to the shows and channels that I watch on a daily basis.  On New Year’s Day, I was not able to watch PCNC after being able to do so for the last three or four years or so.  It was on Comcast Channel 35 for a few years or so.  For a few days or so, a message appeared on a black screen while I was able to watch Channel 35 for, maybe, a “split second” or so … and, on Monday, the channel officially disappeared from our cable lineup.  Since I’m not able to watch PCNC anymore, I now have to change my weekday viewing habits a little bit.  In the mornings, I will watch The Hallmark Channel and CNN … and, in the afternoons and the early evening hours, I will watch just CNN.  That may be a good thing for me in this case, because, later this year, CNN will celebrate its 40th anniversary on the air.  CNN is on Comcast Channel 32.  Hopefully, I’ll be able to watch PCNC in one form or another in another location at some point this year, but, until then, I won’t be able to do so in my own home.

Just so you know, PCNC is short for Pittsburgh Cable News Channel … and CNN is short for Cable News Network.
