This blog talks about the things that interest Joseph Pratt the most. It also talks about the events that are going on in Joseph Pratt's life! Also, occasionally, I will talk about some things that happened to me whenever I was younger, I will talk about a past blog post that I liked to write and I will also ask you guys some interesting questions as well.
On July 24, 2018, I was able to take another one of my evening walks around National Hill … and, while I was doing that, I was trying to snap some photos of the grey clouds that I saw while I was walking. Late that afternoon, I was able to snap three photos of the grey clouds, which were in the skies above Cuddy and National Hill.
On July 17, 2018, I was visiting the city of Pittsburgh with my relatives. I went to Downtown Pittsburgh, Shadyside and the Strip District on that day … and, while I was walking through the Strip District late that morning, I happened to stumble across a place called Luke Wholey’s Wild Alaskan Grille. It’s a seafood restaurant, which is located on Penn Avenue in the Strip District. Me and my relatives ate lunch there … and I would just like to say that I really liked the place a lot. The food was fantastic … and so was the service. You could say I may have been the best dining experience of my life while I was at that restaurant. I may go there again in the future.
If you ever go to the Strip District yourselves, make sure you check out Luke Wholey’s Wild Alaskan Grille … and you, too, may have a fantastic dining experience.
On March 14, 2018, “Mr. Classy” was able to spend a few hours in Pittsburgh … and he really enjoyed his trip to that city. Well, on April 4, 2018, “Mr. Classy” was able to take another trip to Pittsburgh. Again, he enjoyed himself while he was in the Steel City. Last time, it was cold and windy … and, this time, it was cold and windy again.
Mr. Classy’s first stop was Brooks Brother, which is located on Smithfield Street in Downtown Pittsburgh. He didn’t go inside of the store. He just stood outside of the store for a few minutes.
He then spent some time in Shadyside. Some of those places include Panera Bread and a bus stop, which is located near a local hair salon.
“Mr. Classy” went to Shadyside back on April 4, 2018. He went to several places while he was there … and they include Panera Bread and a bus stop, which is located near a hair salon.
He then went to Burlington Coat Factory, which is located on Smithfield Street in Downtown Pittsburgh.
He also spent some time on The North Shore. He was able to walk past PNC Park, which hosted the Pirates’ home opener two days earlier … and then, he had lunch with his relatives at The Clark Bar and Grille, which is located near PNC Park.
Then, at around 12:30 that afternoon, “Mr. Classy” was able to spend a few minutes at Fifth Avenue Place, which is located on Stanwix Street in Downtown Pittsburgh.
On April 4, 2018, “Mr. Classy” spent some time at Fifth Avenue Place, which is located in Downtown Pittsburgh.
As you can see here, “Mr. Classy” enjoyed himself while he was in Pittsburgh, even though it was cold outside. Hopefully, he will go there again soon.
I hope you guys like this blog post as much as I do. Enjoy your day!
A few days ago, I started to take my evening walks around National Hill again. I won’t be walking every day at first since the weather will still be cold on some days, but, hopefully, I’ll be able to walk outdoors more often as the weather begins to warm up.
This past Wednesday, while I was taking my evening walk, I happened to see a lot of grey clouds in the skies above National Hill and Cuddy. Earlier in the day, the sun was out for a few hours. The clouds came to the small towns just minutes before I started taking my evening walk.
You might not know this, but I sometimes love to talk about records. No, not the things that feature some of our favorite songs, but the records that are sometimes set by various people or things. Last year at around this time, my blog set two new records in a single week … and, yesterday, it was literally a record-filled day in my neighborhood. Here on National Hill, we set two new weather records in one day … and both of those records were over 100 years old.
We set the first record of the day late yesterday morning. The old record high was 68, which was from 1891, and we easily got up into the 70s before the morning was over.
After we set the first record, I walked to our mailbox … and, after I came back from the mailbox, I snapped a photo of some clouds, which were in the skies above Cuddy. There were grey clouds in the sky … and there were some wavy clouds in the sky as well.
A few hours after we set the first record yesterday, we set another one. At around 4:00 yesterday afternoon, the temperature was 78 … and it would become the warmest February day in our city’s history. It also prompted me to take my first evening walk around National Hill this year. It went very well … and I saw some familiar faces outdoors.
Spring doesn’t officially start for another month or so, but it certainly felt like it yesterday. Enjoy your day, my friends!
I’m starting to take my evening walks again … and over the past few days, I have been able to see some clouds in the sky, but while I was walking late yesterday afternoon, I bumped into one of my cousins. Her name is Lori Papakie Miller. I have bumped into her at various places many times over the years … and once I bumped into her yesterday, I was able to take a selfie with her while I was taking my evening walk.
I was able to see some more nice-looking clouds in the skies above Cuddy and National Hill while I was taking my evening walk yesterday. I saw a little bit of everything in the skies at that time. The clouds were white, grey and dark. I also saw a cloud that probably looked like an animal or a person or something like that. It was in the skies above Cuddy.
Yesterday afternoon, at around 5:05 p.m., I was able to take my first evening walk outdoors in more than a month. While I was doing that, I was able to see some nice-looking clouds in the skies above both Cuddy and National Hill. It was pretty nice outside, even though it was a little bit muggy outside.
While I was taking my walk at around 6:30 on Friday evening, I just happened to bump into a terrific friend. I had actually become friends with this person back in the Fall of 2013. I don’t see this person very often, but I do see this person from time to time. I’m gonna tell you who it is right now. The person’s name is Nick Monaco. He’s a very classy friend.
