More clouds are ready for their close-ups!

Earlier this month, I was able to snap some more photos of the clouds that were in the skies above South Fayette.  On October 8th, while I was taking one of my last evening walks ever, I snapped photos of the clouds that were in the skies above Alpine Road in South Fayette.

On October 8, 2018, while I was taking one of my final evening walks ever, I snapped this photo of the clouds, which were in the skies above Alpine Road in South Fayette. I zoomed in on those clouds while I was walking towards my home.

The next afternoon, while I was in my computer room, I snapped a photo of some clouds, which were located in the skies above Cuddy.  Some small clouds were inside of a big cloud whenever I snapped the photo.

As you probably know, I’m no longer taking my evening walks around National Hill, so the chances of me snapping photos of the clouds that appear above National Hill are slim.  Of course, if I’m able to see some nice-looking clouds at the locations that I go to regularly, I will do my best to snap a photo or two for you guys … and I might turn them into a blog post someday.

In honor of my blog’s fifth year, I’d like to show you five blog posts that I wrote down on or around October 29th in previous years …

The clouds are ready for their close-ups!

Throughout the month of August, I snapped six photos of the clouds that were in the skies above both Cuddy and National Hill … and I zoomed in on the clouds each and every time.  I guess you could say that the clouds were ready for their close-ups.  Let me show you what I mean by that.

On August 9, 2018, I snapped three photos of some nice-looking clouds, which were in the skies above my neighborhood.

On August 13, 2018, I snapped a photo of some terrific clouds, which were in the skies above Cuddy.

I have six pictures of some clouds for you!

Today, we are starting the second half of 2018 … and we are also starting the month of July.  With that in mind, I would like to show you six photos of some clouds that I saw while I was walking around National Hill a few days ago.  It’s actually gonna be too hot for me to walk outdoors today, so I figured that I should give you guys another cloud-themed blog post today.

These clouds are very interesting, to say the least.  Since it’s too hot to go outdoors today, I figured that you guys would like to see some photos of the clouds in this blog post.

I see some little white clouds inside of a big grey cloud!

On June 23, 2018, I saw some little white clouds inside of some grey clouds … and the clouds were right above our house!

I was taking my walk on June 23, 2018 … and, while I was outdoors, I happened to see a big grey cloud in the sky … and I saw some two little white clouds inside of the grey clouds.  The clouds just happened to be above our house whenever I saw them.  I took a photo of those clouds while I saw them … and you can see it above this blog post.

I also saw some wavy clouds in the sky whenever I snapped the photo.  You never know which kinds of clouds I may see next.  They may look interesting.

I’m seeing more clouds and more blue holes!

Last month, I wrote a blog post entitled “I’m seeing clouds and blue holes!”  Well, today, I will write a blog post entitled “I’m seeing more clouds and more blue holes!”

This past Wednesday, I snapped two photos of the clouds that were in the skies above Cuddy and National Hill.  Most of the clouds were either dark or grey whenever I snapped the photos, but I also saw a few white clouds in the sky as well.  I also saw some “blue holes” in the clouds as well.

Grey clouds and a grey sky

On April 3, 2018, I saw the grey clouds in the skies above Cuddy and National Hill. The skies were also grey whenever I snapped this photo.

On April 3, 2018, I saw a lot of dark clouds in the skies above National Hill and Cuddy.  The skies were also mostly grey whenever I snapped the photo, which is above this blog post.  If you look very closely, you can see some dark grey clouds in the skies above Cuddy.  The skies were very dark at that time.  Again, you just never know what you’ll see whenever you look in the skies above your town.  The sky may look something like this.

Yesterday was a record-filled day on National Hill!

You might not know this, but I sometimes love to talk about records.  No, not the things that feature some of our favorite songs, but the records that are sometimes set by various people or things.  Last year at around this time, my blog set two new records in a single week … and, yesterday, it was literally a record-filled day in my neighborhood.  Here on National Hill, we set two new weather records in one day … and both of those records were over 100 years old.

We set the first record of the day late yesterday morning.  The old record high was 68, which was from 1891, and we easily got up into the 70s before the morning was over.

After we set the first record, I walked to our mailbox … and, after I came back from the mailbox, I snapped a photo of some clouds, which were in the skies above Cuddy.  There were grey clouds in the sky … and there were some wavy clouds in the sky as well.

On February 20, 2018, while I was outdoors, I snapped a photo of some clouds, which were located in the skies above Cuddy.

A few hours after we set the first record yesterday, we set another one.  At around 4:00 yesterday afternoon, the temperature was 78 … and it would become the warmest February day in our city’s history.  It also prompted me to take my first evening walk around National Hill this year.  It went very well … and I saw some familiar faces outdoors.

On February 20, 2018, I took my first evening walk of the year. It was very warm while I was taking my walk then. Of course, I will take many more of my evening walks later this year.

Spring doesn’t officially start for another month or so, but it certainly felt like it yesterday.  Enjoy your day, my friends!

I see every kind of cloud here in the sky!

IMG_20171004_183659
On October 4, 2017, I saw just about every kind of cloud in the skies above National Hill and Cuddy. The clouds here are dark, grey and white … and I saw some wavy clouds and some regular clouds up there as well.

On October 4, 2017, I took a photo of the skies above Cuddy and National Hill.  That evening, I saw every kind of cloud up there.  The clouds were dark, grey and white at that time.  I also saw some regular clouds up there … and I also saw a wavy cloud or two up there as well.  This photo is breathtaking, I think.

One of the clouds looks like a rabbit!

On August 30, 2017, I saw lots of clouds in the skies above National Hill and Cuddy.  The clouds were white, dark and grey here.  I snapped three photos of these clouds that afternoon … and in one of the photos, I saw a cloud that may look like a bunny rabbit.  I think it did look like a rabbit.  Do you agree with me on that?

Now, next week, I will give my computer a much-needed “break” … and, next week, I’m gonna thank my blog’s followers in a three-part blog post.  Enjoy your day, my friends!
