Joseph Goes To The Oral Surgeon’s Office

In September of 2015, I visited the oral surgeon’s office in Peters Township, which is in Washington County, for the first time.  Four of the doctors who work there have the last name of Pasqual … and they also have at least one fantastic nurse there.  I would actually be getting my wisdom teeth removed … and I would also get an extra bad tooth or two removed as well while I was there.  When I went there the first time, that didn’t happen.  I accidentally said that I would get my wisdom teeth removed in September of 2015, but it didn’t really happen … and I also apologized for giving out the wrong information.  When I went there a second time nearly a month later, they actually removed one or two bad teeth and my wisdom teeth.  It went very well … and I recovered from it completely just days later.

Now, on Halloween in 2019, I went to that same oral surgeon’s office again … and, believe it or not, they remember me fairly well.  Now, just like last time, I had a “consultation appointment” while I was there the first time around.  I didn’t want to give out the wrong information this time like I did last time.  Next Tuesday, I will be getting two more bad teeth removed.  They’re my upper teeth.  Hopefully the procedure will go well whenever I’m there next week.  As we get closer to that big day, I would like all of you to keep me in your thoughts and in your prayers as much as possible.  I plan on recovering from my surgery after I leave the oral surgeon’s office … and I will talk about the experience in a blog post next month.  Wish me luck!

Blog Post Number 1,225

Today, I am writing my 1,225th blog post … and it’s going to be a personal post this time.  Now, on October 16th, I went to Katsur Dental, which is located in Collier Towne Square, for the first time since the Spring of 2018.  My dental appointments usually go fairly well, but it didn’t go so well this time around.  I have to get two more of my upper teeth removed … and I have to get at least one filling.  I will be getting my two upper teeth removed at a later date at the same oral surgeon’s office that I went to in October of 2015 whenever I had my wisdom teeth removed.  Now, it could be hereditary.  My father, James Pratt, had some teeth removed at a young age … and he had false teeth whenever he was in his 30s.  Yes, I will have false teeth while I’m in my 30s … and I feel ashamed about that.

I don’t know when I’ll be getting my two upper teeth removed yet … and I may switch dentists next year.  I will be getting partial dentures in the near future.  I wonder which ones I should get.

Joseph’s wisdom teeth have been gone for four years now!

Four years ago today, I got my wisdom teeth removed at the oral surgeon’s office in Peters Township, which is in Washington County.  The procedure went fairly well … and I’ve been doing fairly well since then.

I was able to recover nicely after I got my wisdom teeth removed back in October of 2015.  I had my stuffed lamb with me while I was recovering from my surgery that weekend … and I have him again as I celebrate this anniversary.

Joseph’s Top Blog Posts For October 2019

Three quarters of the year 2019 have almost been completed … and the weather is about to get cooler.  Now, today, I’m going to tell you about the blog posts that I’ll be writing down in October … and, yes, my features will be coming back for the first time in several months.

One of my blog posts will be entitled “Joseph’s Possible Halloween Costumes For 2019.”  I will show you three possible costumes that I might be wearing on Halloween night this year.  I will tell you which costume I’ll be wearing in 2019 in a blog post entitled “Joseph’s Halloween Costume For 2019.”

Another one of my blog posts will be entitled “Happy 5th Birthday, Scarlett!”  I will wish my cousin, Scarlett, a happy 5th birthday in a blog post.

Another one of my blog posts will be entitled “Joseph’s wisdom teeth have been gone for four years now!”  I will celebrate the event by talking about it in the blog post.

My 1,225th blog post will be about either a person, a place or a thing.  It could be about either anyone or anything.

Another one of my blog posts will be entitled “I still have my new glasses one year later!”  I will talk about my glasses, which I got at Three Guys Optical last year, in the blog post.  Sadly, Three Guys Optical is no longer in Collier Township.  I will probably get new glasses somewhere else in the future, if I ever have to get them.

Another one of my blog posts will be entitled “I have owned my Zombie Hunter shirt for one year!”  I will talk about my Zombie Hunter shirt, which I purchases at Heidelberg Wal-Mart nearly one year ago, in the blog post.

My blog’s features are also back for the first time in several months.  Let me tell you how I’ll be using them this time.

Joseph’s wisdom teeth have been gone for three years now!

Today, I would like to celebrate a milestone.  I’m actually celebrating it a day late on my blog because, yesterday, I wrote a blog post about one of my favorite roadways in Pittsburgh, which is Route 978.  It was my 978th blog post … and I wanted to talk about the roadway in the blog post yesterday.

Three years ago, I got my wisdom teeth removed.  I’ve been doing pretty well since then.

Yes, my stuffed lamb was able to help me celebrate this milestone.  It helped me recover after I got my wisdom teeth removed three years ago.

In honor of my blog’s fifth year, I’d like to show you five blog posts that I wrote down on or around October 17th in previous years …
Joseph was in Imperial today! (October 17, 2017)

It has now been two years since I got my wisdom teeth removed!

Can you believe it?  It has already been two years since I got my wisdom teeth removed.  I got them removed from the oral surgeon’s office, which is located in Peters Township, Washington County.  Now, several days earlier, I went to that oral surgeon’s office for the first time … and I didn’t actually get my wisdom teeth removed then, even though I was assuming that they were gonna do that then.  They would actually do that for real on October 15, 2015.  For several hours after that, I was recovering from my surgery … and my stuffed lamb was able to keep me company while I was doing just that.

Today, I was able to celebrate the second anniversary of this event by allowing my stuffed lamb to appear in two selfies with me today.

Joseph’s Second Medical Milestone: I got my wisdom teeth removed one year ago today!

img_20161016_044405
On October 16, 2015, I got my wisdom teeth removed … and to celebrate this occasion, my stuffed lamb appeared in a selfie with me on October 16, 2016.

One year ago today, I got my wisdom teeth removed for real.  Now, a few weeks earlier, I actually got my dates mixed up.  When I went to the oral surgeon’s office in September, I thought that I was gonna get my wisdom teeth removed, but I was actually going to my “consultation appointment” while I was there.

Well, on October 16, 2015, I actually got my wisdom teeth removed for real.  The operation went very well … and I was able to recover from it completely.  I spent that entire weekend recovering from my operation … and I slowly got my strength back after that.  It seems like I just them removed yesterday.  That tear flew by quickly.

I will remember this operation for a long time!

Let’s Talk About A Past Blog Post: Saying good-bye to my wisdom teeth

Back in October of 2015, I wrote a blog post entitled “Saying good-bye to my wisdom teeth.”  In it, I talked about getting my wisdom teeth removed for real.  I also said that I was hoping that they would get removed for real back in September of 2015, but I actually went there for a “consultation appointment” back then.  I said that I apologized for making that mistake … and then I said that I got them removed for real back in October of 2015.  I was inspired to write this blog post because this is something that I had to go through back then.  It wasn’t a fun thing to go through, but at least I got through it.

Here’s a link to that blog post …

My wisdom teeth have been gone for six months now!

Six months ago today, I got my wisdom teeth removed at the oral surgeon’s office in Washington County.  I said good-bye to them one final time back on October 16, 2015.  It was an experience that I will never forget.  My road to my recovery was a slow one to say the least, but after a few days, I was able to do my normal things again.  It seems like I just got them out yesterday.  My mouth still feels good, six months after my wisdom teeth left my mouth for the last time.

I really got my wisdom teeth removed last Friday (Part 3)

On Sunday, I was slowly beginning to get back to normal.  I took the necessary precautions in order to do just that.  I was slowly beginning to eat some solid foods again, even though I wasn’t able to eat them on that day.  I started to drink coffee and tea again … and I waited until the drinks cooled off a little bit before I started to drink them again.  I was able to start using my computer again for a few hours on Sunday.  I still rested in my grandparents’ room for a little bit on Sunday afternoon, though.  Other than that, I was beginning to feel a little bit better on Sunday.

Then, as the days progressed, I began to add more solid foods to my diet .. and I started to take short walks around my neighborhood again.  I won’t be taking long walks around my neighborhood for a while, but hopefully I’ll be able to do that again sometime soon

I hope you enjoyed this three-part blog as much as I did.  This was one surgery that I will never forget!  I will probably remember it for a long time!
