This blog is about my bulldog, Brady, a brown and white English Bulldog who's originally from Ohio. He first came to our house in March of 2019. In this blog, I will talk about Brady doing all kinds of fun things, such as sleeping in our living room chairs to sitting by our gate doors and doing all kinds of funny things. I will use photos by snapping new photos of Brady and mixing in photos of Brady from my previous blog, which is called "Joseph Pratt's Interests And Some Other Things." Speaking of my previous blog, I will show you my lesser-known posts in a weekly series called "The Best Of 'Joseph Pratt's Interests And Some Other Things.'" Those are posts that were only seen one time since I wrote them. I will also show you blog posts that have not been seen a lot of times since I first wrote them down.
This morning I was able to watch Brady for a while. He spent a lot of time laying down in the blue living room chair. I was sitting in the chair for a while before he decided to lay down in it. He makes sure I leave that seat so he can have the seat to lay down in.
Summer began at 4:50 on Thursday afternoon … and it certainly wasted no time this year because the heat was on in the Pittsburgh area all last week. Later today we will finally get some relief from the heat. Now, since it was hot last week, Brady wasn’t able to go outdoors too much, so we were able to have fun indoors.
This past Friday, before I left to go to work at T.J. Maxx and HomeGoods in Bridgeville, I snapped this selfie with Brady.
Yesterday morning, I was able to snap a couple of photos of Brady laying down in the blue living room seat.
How are you staying cool in the heat? Brady was indoors during the heat wave last week. It goes to show you that Brady and I can still have fun indoors, while the weather outdoors is hot.
It is another hot day in Pittsburgh … and, today, Brady was in the hallway and in our living room. It’s still too hot for him to be outdoors.
He was in the hallway this morning for a while. He was right next to the bathroom door in the photo I’m about to show you.
Later in the morning, Brady was sitting and laying down in the blue living room seat.
As the heat wave continues this week please be sure to keep you and your pets safe by staying cool and staying indoors as much as possible.
The heat is expected to stay in the Pittsburgh area this week and temperatures will be in the 90s and we may get close to 100 degrees or even reach it for the first time in nearly 29 years.
Since Brady won’t be spending a lot of time outdoors this week, here’s another classic photo of him sitting on our front porch. This is from October of 2023. He was in one of the chairs on the front porch. How do you think he got up there by himself?
I am back on my computer again for the first time in several days. It will be a hot week in Pittsburgh. Temperatures will be above 90 degrees for most of this week … and heat index readings may be at or above the 100-degree mark. Please make sure that your pets are cool and safe. Since Brady won’t be spending a lot of time outdoors this week, I figured I can show you one photo of Brady sitting on our front porch. I snapped the photo back in March while the weather was much cooler than the weather we’re going to have today.
This week I am giving my computer a break. I will start using my computer again at around 5:00 on Monday morning. I will give you two all-picture blog posts of my bulldog, Brady, between now and this Monday. Here’s the first of those two all-picture blog posts.

Today, I was able to watch Brady in our living room for a while … and, as usual, he slept in the blue living room seat. I was using the little vacuum cleaner in some of the rooms of our house while Brady slept in that chair.
For the last couple of days I have been able to watch Brady in our living room. The first photo I will show you is from yesterday, which was Memorial Day. Brady was sleeping nicely in the blue living room seat.
Now, I will show you two photos of Brady, which are from this morning. Brady was on the living room floor and in the blue living room seat … and he was able to sleep in the seat for a while.
Brady slept very peacefully in the blue living room seat again this morning. I think you can tell he was holding on to one of the chair’s arms while he was sleeping.
Happy Memorial Day, my friends! Yesterday morning I was able to watch Brady for a while … and, as usual, he was sleeping on the blue living room seat. It’s one of his favorite things to do. If you happen to be off today, please take a little time to relax in your favorite chair, whether it’s in the living room, the dining room or even your own porch or deck.

This morning I was watching Brady in our living room … and he spent a good part of the morning in the blue living room seat. He was also outside for a while. He was on our front porch and he was under one of our trees. It’s the one that’s closest to the front porch.
